I think that it’s a recognition and encouragement to me. In the meantime, I spent a lot of time studying English after class. The work I did in my leisure time really enhanced my listening and speaking skills. Also, it builds up my confidence to quickly get accustomed to the life abroad.

　　Besides, these are not what I did best in my college. People say that I’m a energetic girl. Except of the study part, I also participate in many student clubs. For instance, last year I joined in a dance club and won a prize in a cheer squad competition. Then, there came the school’s new year performance. So my friends and I directed the whole class doing a dance show. It was very successful. And this year, I tried something new--I acted in a modern stage play. I like new things, and always be energetic and creative. This is my style. In my point of view, activities like these can make my college life more colorful. I really get fun, make a lot of friends, and learn how to cooperate with others. What’s important, I gradually knew how to keep balance with life and work.

　　1、寫自薦信不要程式化，尤其不要套用網(wǎng)上所謂的模板。

　　老師在讀到千篇一律的自薦信時，很容易產(chǎn)生審美疲勞。反而一份風格獨特、語言樸實、個性鮮明的自薦信更能給老師留下良好的印象。假如你能在格式上取得突破，必定能夠令人眼前一亮，吸引老師的注意。

　　純手寫，尤其是字跡和書法，相信所有的老師看到工工整整的小楷，或者是十分惹眼的草書，只要是有素質(zhì)有文化的人都會感覺到這個過程就是一個享受！印象自然就好很多，甚至會傳閱�。ㄗ运]信是掃描上網(wǎng)的）。

　　2、用實例或者數(shù)據(jù)說話。

　　介紹自己的個性特點或特長時不要僅僅停留在語言形容上，空洞的描述沒有價值，也沒有可信度。而要拿出實例或者數(shù)據(jù)來說明。說自己樂于助人，就應該舉出生活中你幫助別人的典型事例。這樣才能讓人對你的了解更加鮮活和具體，也更可信。

　　比如有的學生在個人陳述中寫自己特別喜歡作研究，隨后列舉出自己在高中階段曾做過的多個課題，其中有一個課題還獲得了上海市青少年科技創(chuàng)新大賽一等獎；該同學還介紹自己能獨立思考、富有懷疑精神，敢于對書本上的東西提出質(zhì)疑，他舉了一個物理課本中某演示實驗的在實際操作中實際并不可行的例子，給人影響深刻，讓老師實實在在地感覺他的確善于獨立思考。

　　再舉個例子學生對計算機系統(tǒng)十分的感興趣，那么有過一個孩子就在這個過程中去詳細的了解了學校早計算機方向的主要方向，以及相關(guān)賽事中學校取得成績，這樣老師對這個孩子的說法就十分的認可，但是僅僅是徒有其表的說說容易在復試的時候被老師問住的話，反而畫蛇添足。

　　3、套話少說，語言盡可能樸實簡練。

　　洋洋灑灑的套話都是廢話，會給人華而不實的感覺。老師每天要看大量的自薦信，所以語言要力求簡練，篇幅不宜過長，用盡可能簡短的文字表達實實在在的東西，讓老師看到你的.踏實和真誠。

　　少說廢話，少說那些沒有價值的拼湊字數(shù)，那整篇文章都是沒有用，那老師會感覺沒有亮點，沒有核心價值在，自然也就要看硬件問題了，硬件也不怎么樣，那就只能淘汰了！

　　4、不要吹噓自己，夸大自己的才能，將自述寫成自夸。

　　在介紹自己的優(yōu)勢特長時，一定要實事求是，不可捏造或夸大。在將來的面試環(huán)節(jié)中，面試官會針對考生自薦信中提到的興趣愛好和特長進行提問，如果考生寫的不真實或者有夸大，就會露出狐貍尾巴，給老師的感覺很差。

　　有這樣一個學生，在自薦信中介紹自己興趣非常廣泛，其中提到自己對“紅學”很感興趣。面試老師中正好有一位紅學研究專家，粗略地提了幾個簡單問題，發(fā)現(xiàn)這位學生對《紅樓夢》的了解其實很少，結(jié)果可想而知，尤其是老教授，對于學生的品德要求可能比能力看重更重要，品質(zhì)這個東西就是用的時候才有體現(xiàn)，總是想通過耍小聰明是入不了法眼的！

　　有時適當?shù)乇砺兑幌伦约旱娜秉c反而效果更好，既體現(xiàn)你對自己有客觀的認識，還展示了自己的博大胸襟，可以大大提升自薦信的可信度。
