初中生英語(yǔ)演講稿1

dear everyone, good evening, everyone! throughout my years of being a student, i’ve had many teachers. none of them are the same, but the one that i’ll never forget and will always miss is my chinese bilingual teacher in the middle school i attended in seattle, ms. ho. she was a skinny, but stylish lady in her 50s. she was different from all the other teachers because she gave me something unforgettable. ms. ho and i became friends right in the first semester i was in that middle school. at the same time, i was having a really hard time with my subjects. since i had just transferred from a bilingual school, where i had stayed for two months after arriving in the us, my english was horrible; my average grade was below c. i almost thought it impossible to learn english. then, one day she told me she strongly believed that i was capable of controlling my life, and i would be just fine. she said that she found we were much alike: both were stubborn, kind-hearted and a little bit simple-minded. she believed that i had the quality of becoming wise. she even said that she didn’t have any worries about me, about my not learning english. with her encouragement, i found the strength within myself and began to desire to work even harder. as a result, i soon proved her right, and at the end of the semester, i got a 3.8 average grade. today, i still keep in touch with her, and she still tells me how shhe believes in me. sometimes, i’d think back, and wonder how i could handle all those things if it wasn’t for her encouragement and trust. could i be the person i am today? then, it struck me: what we need has always been trust and love of others; because these things inspire us to do our best, and to live our life to its fullest. to sum up, i’d like to say to all of you: let us all appreciate trust and love of others and achieve our full potential in our life!

on my birthday two years ago, many special things happened on me. and i would remember them forever. that morning, i rode my bike to school happily as usual. on my way to the classroom, i saw some of my classmates. but when they saw me, they rushed away. that made me confused. because they would talk to me or play jokes on me before. but it was strange today. when i came into the classroom, i found the atmosphere was quite strange. everybody looked at me and laughed loudly. suddenly they all said in good order,“happy birthday to you!” then they began to sing “happy birthday to you~~~~~~” that made me moved. i never told anyone about my birthday, how did they know? i believed they must have done a lot of things. at that moment, i found nothing to say but thanks instead! after school, a thing coming as a surprise happened on me on my way back home. when i was riding suddenly a crowed of people rushed out to stopped my bike.i recogized them at once. they were my senior classmates. they all comlained to me,“why don't you tell us about your birthday? don't you fear that we will let you stand treat? this time you owe us.” then each of them gave a gift and a card with best wishes to me. i was deeply moved again. i suggested having a dinner together. but they all refused because of the time. then they left me saying we would ask you to pay us another day! when i got back home, i thought of everyth hing happened today. suddenly i felt so happy because i had such great friends around me. i thanked them from the bottom of my heart. i would value the precious friendship forever! i have so many feelings through that special day. the only rose without thorns in the world is friendship. a true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget. one friend in a lifetime is much, two are many, three are hardly possible. stick to make friends, for life without friends is like life on a desert island. to find one real friend in a lifetime is good fortune, to keep him is a blessing. thank you for your attention!

As you slowly open your eyes, look around, notice where the light comes into your room;listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize;feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air. Yes,yes, yes,it’s a new day,it’s a different day,and it’s a bright day!And most importantly,it is a new beginning for your life,a beginning where you are going to make new desicisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level! You know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and committed! And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!

You will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions。 You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take。 You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life。 You will never succumb to challenges of hardships。 You will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. After all,you are the best, and you deserve the best!

As your coach and friend,I can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you,but the key to that door is in your hand。 You must do your part, you must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan, you must never quit, you must never fear. I know you must do it,you can do it,you will do it,and you will succeed!

Now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out:I must do it!I can do it!I will do it!I will succeed!I must do it!I can do it!I will do it!I will succeed!I must do it!I can do it!I will do it!I will succeed!

初中生英語(yǔ)演講稿4

We Are The World ,We Are The Future

Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all. We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.

A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves. We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself.Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. And from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”

The way to world’s future-low carbon life “l(fā)ow-carbon” is one of the mostpopular buzz-words in this year. Not only China but all countries focus on thetopic of “l(fā)ow-carbon”.

Here, I’d like to share my own experience abroad with you. Several years ago,I was very lucky to have an opportunity to live in the Australia about half amonth. During that time, Not only did I enjoy the beautiful natural scenerythere, but also I appreciated the people’s active way of protecting theirenvironment. Now, whenever the environment protection is mentioned, thebeautiful scenery of Australia will arise in my mind, white clouds flying acrossthe blue sky, green grassplot sprinkled with colorful flowers and lovelysquirrels playing happily among the trees. As a citizen of China, if everyone can actively protect the environment inour daily life and if we would like to reduce our carbon footprint, the sceneryof blue sky, green grass and lovely animals in Australia will appear in China, even in HeFei. But I totally support the view, that is to say, Emotion withoutaction is irrelevant! Do you unplug electronics after you use them? Do youswitch off everything before you go to sleep? Do you adjust your TV screen a bitdimmer to save energy? Do you re-use water for different activities around thehouse? Each of these seemingly insignificant adjustments in your daily life canmake a difference in saving the environment of tomorrow. We all know that nothing is more fortable than sitting in the warmth of ahearted car while it’s snowing and hailing outside in the freezing cold。But withglobal warming and even global cooling ing more pressing by the day, not tomention your own health, take a walk ,ride a bike ,reduce your carbon footprinton the environment .It is said that tiny streams can be bined into a vastocean, small trees can be an immense forest, and every little makes amickle. “l(fā)ow-carbon” is not just a buzz-word but a goal that people from all over theworld wanna get. So, reduce carbon footprint! Reduce damage! Save energy! Savethe world! Thanks for your listening.

Turn Exercise into Fun

  Doing exercise Having fun

When having to make a choice most people think they have to choose between the two. Far too often people go for the latter and naturally choose fun. For instance many people would prefer watching television, or more commonly known as TV to exercising, we all know that it’s true, right? The problem is, if you don’t exercise you will become weak and ultimately out of shape and it is no fun to be out of shape, right? So the question is, why not turn exercise into fun? As an example, if TV is your favorite thing to do, why not connect your TV set to an electric generator that is charged by a stationary bike, you know, the kind of bike you peddle, that doesn’t go anywhere. So think about it, the more you watch TV, the fitter you’ll be.

Now if you are the kind of person who thinks listening to music is fun and you spend many hours alone tap tap tapping your fingers and your toes to the beat, why not take it one step further and get up on your feet and dance, dance, dance. Or maybe you’re the type of person who prefers being with your friends. There are many ways one could have fun with their pals. For instance you could just hang out and do nothing or better yet you could get into a friendly game of basketball or football there is no rule that says everyone has to be as good as Yao Ming or David Beckham, right? However sometimes there just aren’t enough players, or you may even be alone in which case you could go for a ride on your bike, maybe, stop by the library to borrow a book, or go for a walk around the park and enjoy the sunshine and scenery. Before you know it, you’re having fun.

Let’s face it, exercise is work and when we think of work we think of thankless underpaid hardships yet it needn’t be this way, if we think of exercise as fun.

While I was schooling in Australia, my friends from school and I received a n assignment one day, "To make a ten to twenty minute movie on the topic of your choice." At the time, the trend was based around the popular Matrix movie trilogy, so that became our obvious choice. Because our schedule was very tight, and it was a first time experience, we found it all very hard work, but when we released our production at school, it was worth it. After my friends and I showed the movie, we could not get from one end of the school to the other without getting congratulated about five or six times. We, especially I, were proud. We made a school-wide sensation. From then on, I became obsessed with how to make movies and how filming is done. I just wanted to know about everyone and everything that has something to do with movies. I would watch a movie four to five times, just to find out how one camera angle, or special effect was produced. I found everything I watched quite amazing. I sometimes admired directors and producers of these films because the techniques they use are so smart. Their cleverness inspired me to make and act in movies. When I become little bit older, I would like to attend a movie academy in Beijing or Shanghai, then America, or England, after some training and experience, I would like to make a movie, which will most likely be an action movie, which is my favorite kind of movie to watch.. If I am lucky, I hope I would get an Oscar Award for this movie. I think that would be quite a challenge, but it’s not impossible. For now, it’s back to watching movies over and over again for me!

Good morning/afternoon, Dear teachers and my friends. I’m a student from No.2 middle school of Qugou. My name is Zhao Bingjie. I’m very glad to stand here to make a short speech for you. Today my speech topic is “embrace the dream”.

Many people have a dream about the future besides me. I had a beautiful dream since I was a young little girl. I really want to be an outstanding writer like Guo Jingming in the future, because I liked reading very much when I was a child. So, I practice writing articles in my free time, by doing that I feel very comfortable. I love my dream and I will try my best to make my dream come true.

It’s about my dream, what about you? Do you have a dream? Do you think everyone has their own dreams? In fact, you are wrong. Many people never thought about future and what they will be like. They never have a dream . It’s not good for them. Only have dreams, then we can know what we should do for our dreams and try our best to make them true. So, it’s important and necessary to have a dream.

Someone once said that success comes from a dream. So, fellow students, let’s have a dream, and embrace the dream. Then, we will have a beautiful tomorrow!

My speech is over, thanks for your listening.

  My family :

Hello, everyone, I’m Liu Dongdong. I’m a student. There are three people in my family—my father, mother and I.

My father is 40 years old. He is a worker. I think he is a good worker. Because he works very hard. He gets up very early every day and he works for more than 10 hours a day. So he is always busy, he looks very tired when he gets小學(xué)home. He likes reading newspapers.

He usually reads it after supper. So he gets lots of news. My mother is 38 years old. She is a worker too. She works in a very small factory. She is not tall and she has two big eyes. She loves me and she is good for me. She always buys some books for me. She wants me to be a top student. She also cares for my diet and life. I’ m 15 years old. I wear glasses. I like reading.

I always read books after school. I like singing, too. My favorite singer is Jay Chou. His music is very nice. What do you think of him? I also like making friends. If you want to meet me, please write to me. Oh, my parents love me and I love them, too. My family is a happy family.

初中生英語(yǔ)演講稿11

The importance of time Good morning, dear teacher and my friends! My name is .I’m a student of Great 7 from middle school. I ’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech today. My topic is “the importance of time”. Someone says: “Time is money!” But I think time is even more important than money. Why? Because when money is spent, we can get it back. However, When time is gone,It will never return no matter how rich you are. But it is a pity that there are a lot of people who do not know the importance of time . They spend all day on smorking, drinking and playing. They do not know that wasting time means wasting life. As to us, a middle schoole student, School time is a very important period for our growing up. We should make full use of it to do something usefull, just like learning different kinds of knowledge , taking exercise for a good health and so on. In a word , we should save time.Time is limited and so,very precious. It will not return any more when it is gone. That’s all for my speech.Thank you!(或者Thanks for your listening!)

The Middle East needs your help. Japan needs your help. Alabama and Tennessee need your help. Louisiana needs your help. Philadelphia needs your help. The world needs a lot—and we need it from you, the young people. So get out there. Give it everything you’ve got—whether it’s your time, your talent, your prayers, or your treasure.

Because remember this: You’ll never see a U-haul behind a hearse.

You can’t take it with you. The Ancient Egyptians tried it—and all they got was robbed! So what are you going to do with what you have? And I’m not talking how much you have. Some of you are business majors. Some of you are theologians, nurses, sociologists. Some of you have money. Some of you have patience. Some have kindness. Some have love. Some of you have the gift of long-suffering. Whatever it is… what are you going to do with what you have? Now here’s my last point about failure:

Sometimes it’s the best way to figure out where you’re going. Your life will never be a straight path.

working FROM HOME? 10 tips for women

a woman’s work is never done” anon

working FROM HOME as a woman certainly has it’s benefits, but it also has a few drawbacks which can easily make your productivity a hit or a miss depending on how you set yourself up and if you adhere to the unspoken rules.

whether you work FROM your HOME office normally or if you find yourself working there for a temporary spell due to a change in location for instance, there are a few simple areas to watch out for to keep yourself on the straight and narrow, and not spend work time on laundry and getting dinner started!

have the choice to dress “grunge” or “great”. looking great will make you feel great and help keep your mind focused on your work ahead.

nise your appointments out of your office at a coffee shop or go for a walking coffee appointment with take-a-way cups and tick some exercise off at the same time.

te a mastermind group with others in your local area that you can meet with monthly to bounce ideas around and brainstorm business issues.

the tv on in another room for low background chatter to keep you company, but never sit and watch it unless you are having lunch.

a plant or flowers to your desk, which you might think sounds dumb, but i think it helps with any feeling of isolation.

r open an email after 7pm or at the weekend. you can’t do much about the content anyway out of business hours so it’s not worth losing sleep over.

cise each morning before you start. you have plenty of time to go for your run, shower, eat breakfast and still be back at your desk for 9am if you are not travelling.

you have the feeling of overwhelm and heaps of domestic chores to do, allot time before you start your day or allow yourself to finish at 4.30pm occasionally. a cluttered and overstretched mind is not a productive one.

’t try and work FROM the kitchen table, find an area or room that you can call your own and pull the door on at night when you have finished.

one last thing, never, ever wear your slippers!

working FROM your HOME office may make you even more productive than being in a busy office downtown with other distractions going on around you. i know i can’t hear myself think never mind write when i use the office in town, and so although it can be quiet in my HOME office, it suits my workload better.

what tips do you have working FROM your HOME office? are you strict with yourself and domestic chores? what are your experiences?
