Nowadays, the environmental protection is becoming one of the most important issues in the world. Being one of the members of our society, what shall we do to protect the environment?First, stop using plastic bags, boxes and bottles. Stores should be required to use the bags, boxes and bottles which are made from paper.Secondly, more and more trees and flowers should be planted to keep our surrounding clean. People must be required to plant plants around their houses and work places. Finally, we must control the pollution by law, according to which, polluted water and air exhausted from factories should be forbidden. These are some of the measures that we can take to protect our environment and they are not hard tasks for us. Remember, the earth is the only planet we could live at present.Since the first day, BNBM has paid more attention to protect the environment as its social responsibility, by developing green building materials, producing green products and creating green enterprise. According to the spirit of "From the nature, for the nature and return to the mature", BNBM has tried its best in developing new technology and improving equipment to reduce the pollution.

It’s our duty to protect our environment. More and more people ride bikeswhen they go out nowadays. It’s helpful to keep the air clean.I usually ride to school. I only take a bus on a rainy day. On my bicycle Ican breathe the fresh air and do some exercise to keep healthy. On the otherhand, I can keep away from the traffic jam and make sure I can arrive at schoolon time. To my joy, I can also do a bit for keep the air clean by riding abicycle.I hope everybody will join us and take care of our environment in this way.I believe the air around us will be cleaner with the help of us all.

Hello:
everyone! Now I want to talk about a beatiful world! When I was young,I always dreamed that I lived in a beautiful country. There were many flowers and trees around our counld hear the birds singing and see the children dancing. The streets were clear and the the air was very fresh! How nice it was!But that only was a dream of mine! How I wish that it would be come true! So I think we should do something to protect our environment. Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment.Taking care of our environment is very ever you live, you can do something around your neighbourhood.
Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground?Have you ever drawn pictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place?Have you ever cut down trees? If your answers are "No",it means that you have already helped protect our environment. It is our duty to keep our envionment clean and tidy. You might ask yourself,"Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling?Have I ever planted any trees or flowers in or near my neighbourhood?"If your answers are"Yes",it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment. Now I want to say :Let's do our best to make our world more beautiful!

As time goes by, man is making the earth sick. People cut down too manytrees and leave rubbish everywhere. Factories let out their waste without doinganying to it . This has cause some serious problems. Such as the land is sandy, the river is dirty, the air is less clean, even the temperature of the earth isrising. What should we do to save the earth ? My suggestion is that we shouldplant more trees, put rubbish into dusbins and stop factories pouring wastedirectly into the air or rivers. In all, we have only one earth, we should doour best to protect it, or we will regret.

DEMAND for graduates in the UK with skills related to sustainability is booming. Academia is waking up to the need to train specialists in green architecture, chemistry and engineering.Dean Millar founded the world’s first ever BSc course in Renewable Energy at Exeter University after working as an industry consultant. He said: "A lot of companies were complaining that there was a lack of bright young people suitably trained to work in the renewables business."Now his course has around 90 students learning the ins and outs of biomass, tidal, solar and offshore wind power.Their career prospects are incredibly bright. Employment opportunities are not just limited to the energy sector, but segue into the regulatory and, increasingly, investment sectors as well."The big boys are moving in. The returns to be had are significant, especially in terms of wind development," said Millar. "Financial firms need expertise across the board so they can make sensible investment decisions."Students on York University’s Master’s course in Green Chemistry are ideally placed to take advantage of the growing demand in industry for graduates with waste minimization skills.
Professor James Clark is founder of York’s Green Chemistry Centre for Excellence and the world’s leading green chemistry journal, Green Chemistry. He said: "We are now talking to producers of automobiles, electronics, furniture and pharmaceuticals, people who need to use chemistry but don’t think of themselves as chemists."As waste production legislation becomes increasingly strict, the traditional emphasis on making as much of a chemical as possible is shifting towards minimizing the waste that process creates. "A lot of chemicals are made from petroleum, but we are developing sustainable ways to make carbon, typically from biomass such as dead plants and trees," said professor Clark. All of last year’s graduates quickly found employment, some receiving multiple job offers in a variety of different fields.Li Li, a 26-year-old Chinese postgraduate student, graduated from York in 20xx. She said:"I hadn’t heard about green chemistry in China. It was a new area and I was curious. Now the government back home needs people who know about these principles."Deep in the heart of Wales, 400 students at the Centre for Alternative Technology’s (CAT) Graduate School of the Environment are busy designing and building everything from high insulation wood housing to wind power turbines. With energy costs rising, building firms are increasingly looking to minimize the energy wasted heating and lighting homes, a service CAT students are well-equipped to provide.
A new institute is being built to meet the burgeoning demand for places and a distance learning facility will be launched next September so foreign students can complete CAT courses from home. The expertise being taught on these courses is essential to a continually expanding range of companies and government authorities. Yet there is a larger goal at stake; the students are at the forefront of the battle against climate change. In the words of Dean Millar, "If we’re going to save the planet, we need to start turning these people out in big numbers."

Now more and more people are focusing on the nature. It is no doubt that the nature is important to every human being. No nature, no life. Because of the supplies of the nature, we have lived happily for a long time. And we started to gain every thing available from the nature. And this lasted so long a time. Today, people have discovered that the nature around is getting worse and worse.
What is threatening the nature? Air and water pollution, overharvesting of plant and animal species, overpopulation and so on. Overpopulation is the biggest source of pollution. Let's take overpopulation as an example. What does overpopulation feel like? When we move slowly through the city in a tazi. When we enter a crowded slum district. When the temperature is high and when the air is thick with dust and smoke.
The streets are crowded with people. The streets seem alive with people. People eating. People washing. Improving Beijing's environment for the Olympics Ladies and gentlemen: Good morning! Today, the title of my speech is Improving Beijing's environment for the Olympics. Have you ever seen animals cry? Do you know what makes them cry? It's the polluted world, a dirty world, caused by our irresponsible behaviors, that makes those lovely animals cry. Many of us are smart enough to know how terrible it is to have a world without animals and plants. But some people still persist in making the same errors and harming the environment. What's worse is that people are eating wild animals. Those people don't know, and more importantly, they don't want to know. This kind of behavior has caused some specific problems.
For example, medical experts have suggested that eating wild animals helped spread the terrible disease SARS. Now, our world is no longer clean and beautiful. Why? Because air, water, and noise pollution has become more and more serious. Noise pollution makes us talk more loudly and become angry more easily. Water pollution makes our rivers and lakes very dirty. Air pollution is the most serious kind of pollution. Both air pollution and water pollution are not only dangerous to our health, but also dangerous to animals and plants. We're destroying our only world. A large number of trees have been cut down, so a lot of lands have been turned into deserts. Pollution can be seen everywhere! Unquestionably it is essential that we clean up our environment. Sadly, we've not always appreciated the importance of protecting the environment.
On the streets, you can see cars producing smog. In the bathrooms, you can see students leaving the water tap on after using them. Not only the young people, but also the elderly ones throw things everywhere without thinking it's wrong, even in a beautiful park. these things are taking place every day, even in modern cities like Beijing. We can't do that any more. We must learn how to protect the environment. If everyone is aware of protecting it instead of destroying it, the world can become cleaner, more beautiful, and more peaceful. The theme of Beijing 20xx Olympic Games is "New Peking, New Olympic". It's the target owned by every Chinese. We should try our best to improve Beijing's environment for Olympics. , let's begin to act! First, start with the things around you. Don't throw rubbish onto the road. Don't talk loudly when you are outdoors. Turn off the water tap after using it. Go to school by bike or by bus instead of by private car.
Save your pocket money and contribute to environmental protection organizations. Take me as an example, I take action in order to make our only world full of happiness. I pick up rubbish and throw it into a trashcan. I collect waste paper or bottles for recycling. I plant more trees and flowers, and so on. If you do all these things just like me, it means you have done something useful to improve the environment. We're grateful, because the emblem of the Beijing 20xx Olympic Games is a precious treasure dedicated to the Olympic Movement by the people of China. Under the guidance of the Olympic spirit, let us do a better job in all fields of our preparation and venue construction work in an efficient way.
We will combine the Olympic Movement with the latest technology and advanced culture to make the Beijing Games the best Olympic Games ever! Welcome to Beijing! Thank you.

What is nature? It's everything that exists in the world independently of people, such as pants and animals, earth and rocks, and the weather.

People sleeping. People visiting each other, arguing and screaming. People relieving themselves. People pushing their hands through the taxi windows, begging. People leading animals. People, people, people, people. As we drive slowly through the crowd, sounding the taxi's horn, the dust, heat, noise and cooking fires made it like a scene from hell! I admit, frightening.
To the nature, overpopulation is a big problem. More people, more pollution. And the big population is threatening the nature every second. The rapid rise in world population is not creating problems only for the developing countries. The whole world faces the problem that raw materials are being used up at an increasing rate and food production can not keep up with the population increase. People in rich countries make the heaviest demands on the world's resources, its food, fuel and land, and cause the most pollution. A baby born in the United States will use in his lifetime 30 times more of the world's resources than a baby born in India. Unless all the countries of the world take united action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and more people fighting for a share of less and less land, food and fuel, and the future will bring poverty, misery and war to us all.For most of the developing countries, it is a good idea to control the population growth. For example, China has carried out birth control for years. And this plan has a great effect on the world population. If the population continues to increase, if the air and water continue to be polluted, if we don't do something to protect wild-plant and wildlife species will be declining. Species and biological communities have difficulty adapting to change. Economic opportunities and the quality of life of future generations are also put at risk. By protecting nature, we protect ourselves.Let's unite together, hand in hand we stand all across the land.We can make this world in which to live. Hand in hand. Control the population growth. Take good care of our nature.

My name is Angel; I am from class 1, grade 5. Today I’m going to talk about low carbon lifestyle. What is low carbon life?Low carbon life is to reduce carbon in the air. We know that when we burn something to make electricity, we make the air dirty and increase the carbon dioxide; when we drive cars, the carbon dioxide is also increased.Because of the high-consumption and high-pollution economy, the population increases quickly and the global climate changes repeatedly. The resources that people rely on to survive become less and less. Those are having a bad effect on our health, making us unhealthy. Therefore, low carbon life is important to us.As a student, we should develop good habits in our daily lives. We can select products with longer shift life when we shop. This can reduce waste and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Paper cups are made from cutting forests. We should try not to use them, or select the smaller ones when we do because trees can absorb carbon dioxide and reduce greenhouse gas. We should use efficient light bulbs and the lights should be turned off when not should not waste food, so that the machines do not need to produce more. In this way, energy and electricity can be saved. In the future, we will study harder to find new and better ways to have a low carbon lifestyle, so everybody will live a wonderful low carbon life.
Thank you everybody!
