今年，進(jìn)入了關(guān)鍵的五年級(jí)，每位同學(xué)和家長都能充分感受到五年級(jí)的英語學(xué)習(xí)壓力。家長們留心注意會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)英語的課文由簡單的對(duì)話變?yōu)檩^長篇幅的短文，單詞較多，也有了更多的語法知識(shí)。五年級(jí)的英語學(xué)習(xí)，在整個(gè)小學(xué)階段處于一個(gè)絕對(duì)的主導(dǎo)作用，對(duì)學(xué)生英語學(xué)習(xí)的要求發(fā)生了質(zhì)的變化，也許您的孩子在三四年級(jí)的時(shí)候，英語學(xué)習(xí)不用花功夫，也能考40以上。但是現(xiàn)在如果孩子依然是只憑上課聽聽，回家不讀不記，那么英語成績將會(huì)出現(xiàn)下滑現(xiàn)象。學(xué)生們都是在同一起跑線上起跑的，經(jīng)過五年來的英語學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生與學(xué)生之間已經(jīng)拉開了差距。一些好的學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣濃，學(xué)習(xí)勁頭足，課堂上積極思維，踴躍發(fā)言，課后及時(shí)鞏固，形成了良性循環(huán)的好勢頭。他們的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣好，在聽、說、讀、寫方面都能齊頭并進(jìn)，我為他們感到欣慰�？梢灿幸恍⿲W(xué)生，平時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)馬虎，基礎(chǔ)不扎實(shí)，功虧一簣，導(dǎo)致他們現(xiàn)在課上聽講出現(xiàn)困難，作業(yè)拖拉不完成，背誦課文的作業(yè)根本不做，如此一來，學(xué)習(xí)自然成了件頭痛事，麻煩事。
今天就借此機(jī)會(huì)讓各位家長看一下孩子們的默寫本，這些默寫作業(yè)是每節(jié)課前五分鐘必做環(huán)節(jié)，以此來檢查孩子們對(duì)于上一節(jié)課的知識(shí)掌握情況。對(duì)于班上大部分孩子，默寫本上基本會(huì)出現(xiàn)一至三處的錯(cuò)誤，希望家長們能從中找出孩子存在的不足，督促孩子制定今后的學(xué)習(xí)努力方向。本學(xué)期開學(xué)至今，班級(jí)的學(xué)習(xí)氣氛很濃，英語成績較之上學(xué)期又有了一定的進(jìn)步。英語這門學(xué)科和語數(shù)不一樣的地方在于它的靈活多變性，它的題型可以千變?nèi)f化，但它的變化總是建立在一個(gè)不變的基礎(chǔ)上的，那就是這些基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)：單詞，短語，句型。一旦基礎(chǔ)的東西掌握了，不管它怎么變，萬變不離其宗。接下來請(qǐng)各位家長和我一起看一下本次的英語期中測試
相信各位家長看了孩子們的英語默寫本和期中試卷后一定能夠發(fā)現(xiàn)他們在英語學(xué)習(xí)中存在的不足。我希望家長能了解孩子們的英語學(xué)習(xí)要求，從而幫助和指導(dǎo)自己的孩子在家有效開展英語學(xué)習(xí)，使孩子們能夠在后半學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)習(xí)中能取得最佳的成績，以實(shí)現(xiàn)家長、孩子、老師三者共同的心愿。本學(xué)期的英語學(xué)習(xí)要求主要有以下三個(gè)方面：
1。默寫的內(nèi)容：書后單詞表中藍(lán)色單詞、課文中老師要求劃的短語、以及C、D部分的句型。
2。背誦的內(nèi)容：每單元A部分課文，C、D部分句型，以及老師要求抄的筆記及每課的語法知識(shí)
3。要求練習(xí)的內(nèi)容：《牛津小學(xué)英語練習(xí)與測試》和每天的.家庭作業(yè)。
英語學(xué)習(xí)貴在堅(jiān)持，聽、說、讀、寫，四個(gè)方面缺一不可，課后的復(fù)習(xí)和鞏固尤為重要，所以希望家長在家中積極配合老師的英語教學(xué)，及時(shí)了解孩子的學(xué)習(xí)情況，督促孩子堅(jiān)持每天讀英語，按時(shí)完成老師布置的作業(yè)。在此我希望各位家長能做到以下兩點(diǎn)：
1、家長定期檢查孩子的作業(yè)本，特別是默寫本，關(guān)心孩子的學(xué)習(xí)情況，并督促孩子及時(shí)改錯(cuò)。
2、每個(gè)周末家長定時(shí)復(fù)習(xí)筆記，英語筆記的內(nèi)容是精華部分，是重要知識(shí)點(diǎn)，語法點(diǎn)。考試前讀一讀、認(rèn)真復(fù)習(xí)，會(huì)有事半功倍的效果。
作為教師我們一定會(huì)盡最大的努力來教好每一位孩子，同時(shí)我們也真誠的希望能夠得到您的支持和配合。我們每一位英語老師要帶三個(gè)班的英語課，關(guān)注近180個(gè)孩子的英語學(xué)習(xí)，工作量是很大的，相比而言我們力量是微小的，有了您的加入，才能形成家校聯(lián)合的強(qiáng)大力量。

My name is Ilana Wexler. I'm 12 years old, and I am the founder of “Kids for Kerry.”
Kids for Kerry is a grassroots organization of kids that support John Kerry, want to help their futures, and get active in politics.
When my parents went to see Teresa Heinz Kerry speak, they told me that she was amazing! -- and that they thought John Kerry would make a great President. I decided to find out more about John Kerry. I talk about what I learned by using my ABCs.
“A” is America. John Kerry is a hero to America, and he will help our futures. He is a great and positive role model.
“B” is Better education. John Kerry wants to make class sizes smaller, so that children get the best part out of learning. He wants to help teachers because being a teacher is educating children, and letting them out into the world to do good things.
“C” is Compassion towards children. John Kerry wants to make sure that health care is not a privilege, but it is something that we can all afford.
This summer, I was supposed to go to my favorite camp. But instead, I decided to go to the John Kerry office every day. Kids can really help!
On KidsforKerry.org, we have an interactive presidential quiz. There are 270 questions for the electoral votes John Kerry will win. Plus, 25 questions to make up for Florida from the last election.
Our next goal is to have a petition for “National No Name-Calling Day,” a day that the candidates don't say anything negative about one another. When our Vice President had a disagreement with a Democratic senator, he used a REALLY BAD word.
If I said that -- If I said that word, I would be put in a “time-out.”
I think he should be put in a time-out.
The last time I saw John Kerry, he grabbed my arm and said, “See you at the convention.” And here I am!
What will be even more amazing will be the inauguration in January, when we have a new President, knowing that kids have made a difference in this election.
To summarize, Teresa Heinz Kerry: Inspirational, amazing!
John Kerry: American hero, next President.
Kids need-Kids need positive-Kids need positive role models in politics. And our Vice President deserves a long time-out.

But one day , a big factory was built near my body . The birds and the fish had to move their houses , because of the dirty water and heavy smoke. My friends went away. I was so sad.

I am very happy to meet with you here today to tell you my speech is entitled "English, so I am happy."
English, spread to all over the world, people talk about memorization. Since my time in first grade began to learn English, I was not interested in it, but the third and fourth grade, when a sudden interest in reading in English every day, and even self-learning, to raise a lot of English results .
Now, my greatest interest is the time to see the English. Each weekend, I always find time to read English books or see on the English comic books, information books, and even outside the time when shopping, but also with some English information on the book, simply put it down.
Each school, I sometimes went to the library of books on English, a view that is 30 minutes, the harvest has been so many.
Once again, the summer vacation, I went to the United Kingdom. Where I see a lot of the city, this afternoon I have friends with the British dialogue in English, but also know a lot of knowledge of English, they also compliment away一extra-curricular knowledge of the English book.
I have often in the Monday and Tuesday, when listening to English tapes, one is 3 hours. Also frequently used sentence patterns learned review again, I learned to feel very proud.
