As the song goes '' My future isn't a dream.'' I love the song which bringsme confidence when singing it every time. I believe that all our dreams cancome true if we have courage to pursue them. When I was young my father alwaysasked me what I would be in the future. Sometimes I found it very hard to givea certain reply. '' I want to be a doctor.'' '' I want to be a teacher.'' and '' I'd like to be a scientist !'' Many of these answers are perhaps very childish andridiculous. But I never think they are far away.
How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ?I knowclearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation. As a student ,I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard. My goal is to enter the bestuniversity for further study after middle school. I know it's hard work , and I'll come across many difficulties and frustrations. But no matter what they are, I'll keep working on it and never give up. My teacher says there 's only onekind of people that are truly successful : those who are brave enough to put upwith hardships. Even if I won't achieve the goal , I have no regrets for what Ihave done , for I have struggled for my life.

Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing childlike appetite of what's next and the joy of the game ofliving.
In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station: solong as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from menand from the Infinite, so long are you young.
When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows ofcynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but aslong as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you maydie young at 80.

With age comes experience and with experience comes knowledge andunderstanding. No one individual is ever completed with his or her growth. Forthe wisest of all men has death to face. And with death imminent for all, onewill still have to face fear till the very end of one's existence. So to takewhat one learns through life and to press on towards the goals set will onebegin to face new, challenging, and sometimes even exciting new fears. Life willnever complete itself until one has completed the life he is given. Therefore itis incredibly irresponsible to merely accept death as the imminent future, settle into a comfort zone naught of challenge, and to merely exist. Could abetter definition of waste be drawn?
It is each and everyone's responsibility to konw who he is. And it is,therefore, each and everyone's responsibility to take what he has as genetictools to better his life and to better the lives of others. For if all acceptedindividuality and accepted the individuality of others, then all would have thesympathy for one another.
This is harmony; the ideal nature of life by which life is then lived. Tolive in harmony with one another is but a simple step forward in one'sthinking.
Once one has recognized one's individuality, accepted one's fears, andchosen to set goals and move foward with the important aid of hope, will onehave truly conquered living life.

The question was once asked of a highly successful businessman, "How haveyou done so much in your lifetime?"
He replied, "I have dreamed. I have turned my mind loose to imagine what Iwanted to do. Then I have gone to bed and thought about my dreams. In the nightI dreamt about my dreams. And when I awoke in the morning, I saw the way to makemy dreams real. While other people were saying, 'You can't do that, it isimpossible,' I was well on my way to achieving what I wanted." As WoodrowWilson, 28th President of the U.S., said: "We grow great by dreams. All big menare dreamers."
They see things in the soft haze of a spring day, or in the red fire on along winter's evening. Some of us let these dreams die, but others nourish andprotect them; nourish them through bad days until they bring them to thesunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that theirdreams will come true.
So please, don not let anyone steal your dreams, or try to tell you theyare too impossible.
"Sing your songs, and dream your dreams, hope your hope and pray yourprayer."

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter ofrosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality ofthe imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deepsprings of life.
Youth means a tempera-mental predominance of courage over timidity, of theappetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow oldby deserting our ideals.
Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles thesoul.
Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spring back todust.
