everyone has his ownunderstanding of young,it is a period of time of beautyand wonders, only after you have
experienced the sour ,sweet ,bitter and salty can you really become aperson of significance.thre time of young is limitted,it may paby without yourattention, and when you discover what has happened ,it is always toolate.grasping the young well means a better time is waiting for you in the nearfuture,or the situation may be opposite .
having a view on these great men in the history of hunmanbeing, they allmade full use of their youth time ,to do things that are useful to society, tothe whole mankind, and as a cosquencyanjianggao/e ,they are remembered bylater
generations, admired by everyone.so do something in the time ofyoung, although you may not get achievements as these greatmen did ,though notfor the whole word, just for youeself, for those around!
the young is just like blooming flowers, they are so beautiful whenblooming, they make people feel happy, but with time passing by,after they withers, moet people think they are ugly.and so it is the same with young,we areenthusiastic when we are young, then we may lose our passion when getting olderand older.so we must treasure it ,don't let the limitted time paby ,leavingnothing of significance.
as you slowly open your eyes, look around, notice where the light comesinto your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize;feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshnein theair.
yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day, it’s a different day, and it’s a bright day!and most importantly, it’s a new beginning for your life, a beginning where youare going to make new decisions, take new actions, make new friends, and takeyour life to a totally unprecedented(空前的) level.
in your mind’s eye, you can see clearly the things you want to have, thepaces you intend to go, the relationships you desire to develop, and thepositions you aspire(勵(lì)志) to reach.
you can hear your laughters of joy and happineon the day when everythinghappens as you dream. you can see the smiles on the people around you when themagic moment strikes. you can feel your face is getting red, your heart isbeating fast, and your blood is rushing all over your body, to every singlecorner of your being!
you know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate andcommitted!(效忠的.) and you are confident, you are passionate, you arecommitted!
you will no longer fear ma-ki-ng new sounds, showing new facialexpressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking newquestions.
you will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and youwill show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take.
you will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of yourlife. you will never succumb(屈服,屈從) to challenges of hardships.
you will never waver(動(dòng)搖) in your pursuit of excellence. after all, you arethe best, and you deserve the best!
as your coach and friend, i can assure you the door to all the best thingsin the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. youmust do your part. you must faithfully follow the plans you make and take theactions you plan; you must never quit and you must never fear. i know you mustdo it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed! now stand firm andtall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out:
i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed!
i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed!
i must do it! i can do it! i will do it! i will succeed!

ladies and gentlemen , good afternoon! i’m very glad to stand here and giveyou a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. i hope you will like it , andfound the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.
first i want to ask you some questions:
1、do you know what is youth?
2、how do you master your youth?
youth
youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is thefreshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of theappetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we growold by deserting our ideals.
years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul .worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.
whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure ofwonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the gameof living . in the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and powerfrom men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows ofcynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but aslong as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you maydie young at 80.
thank you!

Curious, he yells," Whoare you?" He receives the answer,"Who are you?" Angered at the response, hescream,"Coward!" He receives the answer,"Coward!"
He looks to his father and asks,"What's going on?" The father smiles andsays,"My son, pay attention." And then he screams to the mountain, "I admireyou!" The voice answers," I admire you!" Again the man screams,"You are achampion!" The voice answers,"You are a champion!" The boy is surprised, butdoes not understand.
Then the father explains,"People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection ofour actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in you team, improve your competence. Thisrelationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life. Life will give youback everything you have given to it."

Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. Whatis success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rathersimple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success;making a new friend is success; even now I amstanding here giving my speech is somehow also success.
However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes verycomplicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social statussuccess? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization ofpeople’s hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are manypeoplewho are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics ofhem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that ssuccess and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether itis real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position andbetter condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? Whatwill satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we mustneed something inside, which is the realization ofpeople’ hopes and ideals.
Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopesand ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear toeverybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our strivingfor success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightenedby the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and senseof responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that Ihave this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope.
What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I amsureevery success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make asuccessful life! Wish you all good success!

no young man believes he shall ever die. it was a saying of my brother's,and a fine one. there is a feeling of eternity in youth, which makes us amendfor everything. to be young is to be as one of the immortal gods. one half oftime indeed is flown-the other half remains in store for us with all itscountletreasures; for there is no line drawn, and we see no limit to our hopesand wishes. we make the coming age our own-
the vast, the unbounded prospect lies before us.
death. old age. are words without a meaning. that paby us like the idea airwhich we regard not. others may have undergone, or may still be liable tothem-we "bear a charmed life“, which laughs to scorn all such sickly fancies. asin setting out on delightful journey, we strain our eager gaze forward-
bidding the lovely scenes at distance hail!
and see no end to the landscape, new objects presenting themselves as weadvance; so, in the commencement of life, we set no bounds to our inclinations.nor to the unrestricted opportunities of gratifying them. we have as yet foundno obstacle, no disposition to flag; and it seems that we can go on so forever.we look round in a new world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseleprogress; andfeel in ourselves all the vigor and spirit to keep pace with it, and do notforesee from any present symptoms how we shall be left behind in the naturalcourse of things, decline into old age, and drop into the grave. it is thesimplicity, and as it were abstractedneof our feelings in youth, that (so tospeak) identifies us with nature, and (our experience being slight and ourpassions strong) deludes us into a belief of being immortal like it. ourshort-lives connection with existence we fondly flatter ourselves, is anindissoluble and lasting union-a honeymoon that knows neither coldness, jar, norseparation. as infants smile and sleep, we are rocked in the cradle of ourwayward fancies, and lulled into security by the roar of the universe aroundus0we quaff the cup of life with eager haste without draining it, instead ofwhich it only overflows the more-objects prearound us, filling the mind withtheir magnitude and with the strong of desires that wait upon them, so that wehave no room for the thoughts of death.
