　　首先我要非常感謝主持人撒貝寧,感謝欄目組邀請我到中國,也感謝你們邀請我參加今天這個節(jié)目,給大家分享一下我生命當(dāng)中的故事。我想給大家分享的可能不僅僅是關(guān)于籃球,其實(shí)可以運(yùn)用到大家的工作和生活當(dāng)中。無論你從事何種職業(yè),只要有夢就要專心致志地去追,去尋找你的夢想去追求它。

　　我在密歇根底特律的平民家庭長大,我的父親是一個言語不多的人,他是個商人,我父親告訴過我很重要的一點(diǎn),也是我從他身上看到的,父親教會我,每天都要為夢想竭盡全力。那就是每天他起床穿戴衣服之后,他會告訴他自己,無論你是生病了還是你覺得勞累了,但是他總會竭盡全力。

　　很多人認(rèn)為我是某天醒來發(fā)現(xiàn)自己突然長到2米05,我可以打進(jìn)NBA也是很自然的事兒,但沒有人認(rèn)識到成為NBA球員靠的是恒心和毅力。其實(shí)我在整個追夢的過程中都是靠恒心和毅力才使自己最終進(jìn)入NBA。當(dāng)我12歲的時(shí)候我身高是1米8,當(dāng)時(shí)就像鉛筆一樣的瘦,沒有一個女孩愿意跟我約會或者跟我接吻,因?yàn)樗齻冇X得我長得很好笑。有天我跟小伙伴們聊天,我告訴他們說有一天我會到NBA賽場上去比賽,你們猜他們什么反應(yīng),他們嘲笑我,他們嘲笑我的夢想。

　　他們告訴我說,肖恩你太瘦了,而且你跑得不快,跳得也不夠高,你絕對不可能到NBA去打球的,你絕對不可能完成你的夢想。作為一個12歲小男孩我聽到這樣的話我覺得很傷心,因?yàn)樗麄儾徽J(rèn)可我的夢想。那么當(dāng)時(shí)我覺得我最看中的是我自己的想法。每天早上我起來看著鏡子我問我自己:肖恩,你每天都準(zhǔn)備好了嗎?今天你要竭盡全力,去接近夢想,一點(diǎn)也好。

　　在我晚上睡覺刷牙的時(shí)候,我也是看著鏡子問我自己,不要想昨天也不要想明天,只想想今天我是不是離我的夢想,離我的目標(biāo)近了一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)呢?大部分的時(shí)候我都可以說是的。我每一天都在練習(xí)、不斷地練習(xí),我一點(diǎn)一點(diǎn)地進(jìn)步,當(dāng)我十四歲的時(shí)候,我就已經(jīng)有將近兩米高了。

　　我上高中后漸漸地開始成功,當(dāng)時(shí)有一個籃球運(yùn)動員叫克里斯·韋伯,他當(dāng)時(shí)是NBA選秀的第一名,所以在我還是高一的時(shí)候,我十四、五歲左右我身邊的人都告訴我說,你永遠(yuǎn)沒辦法像克里斯那樣出色,因?yàn)榭死锼购軓?qiáng)壯,而且力氣也很大,但是你跑得不快,彈跳力也不行,你永遠(yuǎn)也不可能成為他。但是我小時(shí)候,已經(jīng)聽過這種話了,那么我怎么做呢?

　　我看著鏡子對自己說“你要知道,只有你自己的想法是最重要的”,所以我就不斷地去努力。在我高中畢業(yè)的時(shí)候,我要準(zhǔn)備去上大學(xué)了,我已經(jīng)贏了三個全州的冠軍,而且我還是那一年整個全美高中明星隊(duì)里面的一員,我是當(dāng)時(shí)全國高中生中最棒的籃球運(yùn)動員。我后來就決定進(jìn)入到美國一個學(xué)術(shù)與籃球都很出色的大學(xué),那就是杜克大學(xué)。你們肯定想不到我在申請杜克時(shí),人們對我說的話。

　　他們說:“哦,肖恩,你現(xiàn)在籃球打得很好,但你在大學(xué)的時(shí)候,應(yīng)該不會那么出色了,因?yàn)槟闼俣缺容^慢,跳得也不高,而且你也不夠強(qiáng)壯,你的籃球意識也不夠強(qiáng)�！边@些話都是我在十二歲的時(shí)候,在十四、五歲的時(shí)候也聽過。那么我怎么做呢,我也是站在鏡子前,我問我自己,你準(zhǔn)備好了嗎?你要去向那些質(zhì)疑你的人證明,證明他們是錯的,所以我就不斷地奮斗。在我四年的大學(xué)結(jié)束以后,我決定加入NBA。我到了NBA的時(shí)候,人們的質(zhì)疑又來了,他們說肖恩你大學(xué)的時(shí)候是很好的球員,但是你絕對不可能是一個優(yōu)秀的專業(yè)球員,很驚訝吧,很讓人震驚吧。而我是怎么做的呢?我對著鏡子告訴自己說:現(xiàn)在是你繼續(xù)努力的時(shí)候了。

　　那么十二年之后,我站在各位的面前,我已經(jīng)贏得了NBA的兩個總冠軍,而且我在非常棒的兩支球隊(duì)里面打過球,而且我讓我的夢想成真了。我覺得我的故事當(dāng)中,最美妙的一部分是告訴大家,并不是我一夜之間醒過來我就到了NBA的賽場,不是這樣的。我這一路上每一小步,直到今天的成功,我被排擠過,有人說我不夠優(yōu)秀,有人說我永遠(yuǎn)不會成功,當(dāng)我在籃球方面成功的時(shí)候,人們總是希望稱我為籃球明星,但是對于我自己的話除了籃球之外還有很多的東西。

　　我非常地幸運(yùn),我的父母都非常重視對我的教育,但是我有一些朋友和老師,他們會說:“肖恩,你不需要成為一個很好的學(xué)生,只要好好打你的籃球就行了。”我說不“不,我不要這樣子,我要成為一個很好的學(xué)生。因?yàn)槲蚁矚g學(xué)習(xí),喜歡看書,我喜歡學(xué)習(xí)新的`東西�！�

　　在我整個四年的高中時(shí)間,我的成績只得到了一個B,其他的都是A。

　　我還記得,我小的時(shí)候還踢過足球,當(dāng)時(shí)有很大的一個球場,應(yīng)該是類似錦標(biāo)賽的一個比賽,現(xiàn)在仍然記憶猶新。當(dāng)時(shí)我12歲,我非常地緊張,我害怕自己會犯錯誤,但當(dāng)我?guī)�球跑時(shí)總是踢偏,怎么都跑不遠(yuǎn),要知道我面對的是大概六萬的觀眾,我不能面對這樣的場面,我難過地哭了,但至少我努力過、我試過,雖然我可能失敗了,我從失敗中的收獲,可能比從成功中的收獲更大。

　　我的教練是美國最出色的之一,他叫麥克沙舍夫斯基,他曾經(jīng)這樣說道:“你最好準(zhǔn)備好下一場的比賽,因?yàn)樵诨@球場上,有很多事情會發(fā)生,比如你在運(yùn)球的過程中,突然一下被鞋子絆倒了,每個人都在嘲笑你,那么多國家的電視臺都在直播你的現(xiàn)場,所有人都看到了,那你會怎么辦呢?你會坐那兒哭嗎,會說我被絆倒了太丟臉了,所有人都在嘲笑我?不,一定不要這樣子。

　　那你應(yīng)該怎么做呢?你只有站起來,繼續(xù)下一場的比賽,下一場的比賽是最重要的�！蔽乙欢ㄒ�進(jìn)行下一場的比賽,這是非常重要的一種思維模式。如果我們能夠形成這樣的思維模式,會使你受益終生,你會一直能夠繼續(xù)打下一場的比賽。抓住下一次的機(jī)會,以及實(shí)現(xiàn)下一次的目標(biāo)。到時(shí)我們必須擁有面對之前那個挑戰(zhàn)時(shí)的激情和熱情,如果一直這樣堅(jiān)持的話,你肯定會取得成功,我相信你肯定會取得成功。
