　　Clive Greenaway managed to say 26 one-liners in 60 seconds in front of a live audience to claim the record.

　　克萊夫·格里納韋在現(xiàn)場觀眾面前用60秒講了26個(gè)笑話，打破了記錄。

　　Although the 57-year-old fell two jokes short of the 28 he had hoped for, it was still enough tooutdo rival Markus Weise by five jokes.

　　現(xiàn)年57歲的.格里納韋本希望能說28個(gè)笑話，雖然少了2個(gè)，也足以讓他以5個(gè)笑話的優(yōu)勢超過對(duì)手馬科斯·魏澤。

　　Mr Greenaway spent a year practising for the record and his act was so well-rehearsed that he was able to rattle off one joke every two seconds.

　　格里納韋花了一年時(shí)間為破紀(jì)錄做準(zhǔn)備。他反復(fù)排練，讓自己能每2秒就說出1個(gè)笑話。

　　One of the strict Guinness World Records' rules stated that the live audience of 250 people had to laugh to each joke, or the gag would not be counted.

　　吉尼斯世界紀(jì)錄的規(guī)則非常嚴(yán)格，要求每個(gè)笑話讓現(xiàn)場250名觀眾發(fā)笑，否則就不算數(shù)。

　　格里納韋笑話選：

　　'My wife and I were happy - then we met'

　　我和我老婆認(rèn)識(shí)前都活的挺開心的。

　　'My wife dresses to kill - and cooks the same way'

　　我老婆衣著亮眼，廚藝殺人。

　　小編注：Dress to kill是一個(gè)習(xí)慣用語，意思是穿著時(shí)尚、亮眼。

　　'Pollen count - that's a tough job'

　　數(shù)花粉真不是個(gè)容易的活。

　　'I ate a ploughman's lunch - he was not happy'

　　我吃了農(nóng)夫的午餐，他生氣了。

　　Ploughman’s lunch一語雙關(guān)，除了字面意思“農(nóng)夫的午餐”外，還指由奶酪、腌菜和面包組成的一種英式冷餐。

　　'Went to the paper shop - but it had blown away'

　　要去紙店，結(jié)果它被風(fēng)吹跑了。
