　　A Guide Dog

　　A guide dog is a dog especially trained to guide a blind person. Dogs chosen for such training must show good disposition, intelligence, physical fitness and sense of responsibility.

　　At the age of fourteen months, a guide dog begins an intensive course that lasts three to five months. It becomes accustomed to the leather harness and stiff leather handle it will wear when guiding its blind owner. The dog learns to watch the traffic and to cross the street safely. It also learns to obey such commands as "forward", "left", "right" and "sit" and to disobey any command that might lead its owner into danger.

　　The most important part of the training course is a fourweek program in which the dog and its future owner learn to work together. However, many blind people are unsuited by personality to work with dogs. Only a tenth of the blind find a guide dog useful.

　　訓(xùn)練課程中最重要的部分是4個(gè)星期的專(zhuān)門(mén)課程。在這個(gè)課程中，導(dǎo)盲犬和它未來(lái)的主人要學(xué)會(huì)一同共事。然而，許多盲人由于個(gè)性原因無(wú)法適應(yīng)與狗共事。只有十分之一的盲人覺(jué)得導(dǎo)盲犬能幫上忙。

　　We have only one earth ,so it is important to protect the environment. First, we should live a low-carbon life, we'd better travel by bike or on foot instead of taking a car. We should take a bag with us when we go shopping instead of using plastic bags. We'd better not waste electricity,paper and so on. Secondly, we shouldn't spit in public or litter things. We should put the rubbish into the dustbin. We'd better plant more trees, grass and flowers instead of cutting down the trees. I believe if everyone makes a contribution to the environment, our world will become more and more beautiful.

　　我們只有一個(gè)地球，所以。保護(hù)環(huán)境是非常重要的。首先，我們應(yīng)該過(guò)低碳生活。我們因該用騎車(chē)或步行替代開(kāi)車(chē)。購(gòu)物時(shí)，應(yīng)該自己準(zhǔn)備袋子而不應(yīng)該使用塑料袋。我們不應(yīng)該浪費(fèi)紙張和電力等等。其二，我們不應(yīng)該在公共場(chǎng)所隨地吐痰或亂丟雜物。垃圾應(yīng)該進(jìn)垃圾桶。我們應(yīng)該多植樹(shù)，種草種花，不應(yīng)亂砍亂伐。我相信，如果每個(gè)都做出貢獻(xiàn)，我們的世界就會(huì)變得更加美麗
