大學(xué)英語(yǔ)面試問(wèn)題及回答

大學(xué)英語(yǔ)面試問(wèn)題及回答
對(duì)外企的英文面試應(yīng)該按照以下步驟來(lái)進(jìn)行準(zhǔn)備：
(1)預(yù)測(cè)問(wèn)題。這個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)不但能幫助你克服聽(tīng)力困難，而且能緩解你在面試時(shí)候的緊張情緒。想象一下，如果總是Pardon, Excuse me，你怎么可能鎮(zhèn)定自若?
(2)書寫答案。英語(yǔ)8級(jí)的牛人也會(huì)在英文面試時(shí)出現(xiàn)邏輯不清的情況，因?yàn)榱骼途袟l絕對(duì)不是同義詞。筆者的親身體會(huì)是，越是英語(yǔ)流利的牛人，越容易在面試的時(shí)候廢話連篇，邏輯混亂。
(3)背誦答案。背誦三遍以內(nèi)是結(jié)巴，背誦十遍以內(nèi)是流利的背誦，而背誦二三十遍以上就不再是背誦，而是滔滔不絕的自由表達(dá)!

衡量一個(gè)回答是否精彩，只有一個(gè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)：這個(gè)回答中，體現(xiàn)了申請(qǐng)人的什么特征?這些特征是優(yōu)點(diǎn)還是缺點(diǎn)?如果是優(yōu)點(diǎn)，是否剛好適合所申請(qǐng)職位的優(yōu)點(diǎn)?
一、Personal Information關(guān)于個(gè)人信息的問(wèn)題
1.What’s the meaning of your English name? 你的英文名字有什么含義么?
問(wèn)題分析：有些申請(qǐng)人的英文名字不合常規(guī)，比如叫King，或者Sushi，或者M(jìn)onk等等。面試官詢問(wèn)這些申請(qǐng)人名字的含義，主要有幾個(gè)目的：第一，緩解面試的緊張氣氛；第二，面試官也有一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)好奇心;第三，給申請(qǐng)人一個(gè)展示自己獨(dú)特個(gè)性的機(jī)會(huì)，因?yàn)楦矣诮o自己起獨(dú)特名字的人往往具有很獨(dú)特的個(gè)性，這些人希望引起別人的注意。

較差回答：Lazyfish? Oh, I admire the goldfish for living an easy life. Compared to goldfish, human beings live a fast-paced life. So I chose this email address to make me feel a bit relaxed.

較差回答：52n52n? oh, it means “I love you, I love you,” because 5 sounds like “I” in Chinese, and 2 for “l(fā)ove”, n for “you”. I registered this address to please my girlfriend, hehe.

3.Where are you from? Where is your hometown? 你是哪里人?家鄉(xiāng)在什么地方?
問(wèn)題分析：很多老外在中國(guó)工作居住多年，甚至自詡為中國(guó)通，他們可能會(huì)順便問(wèn)問(wèn)你是哪里人，拉近和你的距離。
回答示范1：I was born and raised in the city of Wuhan. As far as I know, our company has a branch office near Hanzheng Street, and it’s quite a big office.

問(wèn)題分析：外國(guó)面試官更喜歡提“為什么”的問(wèn)題，他希望申請(qǐng)人是一個(gè)有主見(jiàn)的人。
回答示范1：I was quite good at mathematics and physics back in high school so I chose a related major, Telecommunications. I also applied for the major of computer science. You know, these two majors are the hottest these years.

1. What is important to you in a job?
Mention specific rewards other than a paycheck for example, challenge, the feeling of accomplishment, and knowing that you have made a contribution.
2. Why do you want to work for this organization?
Cite its reputation, the opportunities it offers, and the working conditions. Stress that you want to work for this organization, not just any organization.
3. Why should we employ you?
Point to your academic preparation, job skills, and enthusiasm about working for the firm. Mention your performance in school or previous employment as evidence of your ability to learn and to become productive quickly. If the job involves management responsibilities, refer to past activities as proof of your ability to get along with others and to work as part of a team.
4. If we hire you, how long will you stay with us?
Answer by saying along these lines: "As long as my position here allows me to learn and to advance at a pace with my abilities."
5. Can we offer you a career path?
Reply: "I believe you could, once I know the normal progression within the organization. Can you tell me about it?" The answer may be revealing.
6. What are your greatest strengths?
Give a response like one of the following: "I can see what needs to be done and do it", "Im wiling to make decisions", "I work well with others," "I can organize my time efficiently."
7. What are you greatest weakness?
Identify one or two, such as the following:" I tend to drive myself toohard", " I expect others to perform beyond their capacities", " I like to see a job done quickly, and Im critical if it isnt." Note these weaknesses could also be regarded as desirable qualities. The trick with this question is to describe a weakness so that it could also be considered a virtue.
8. What didnt you like about previous jobs youve held?
Discuss the things you didnt like, but avoid making slighting reference to any of your former employers.
9. How do you spend your leisure time?
Mention a cross section of interests-active and quiet, social and solitary -- rather just one.
10. Are there any weaknesses in your education or experience?
Take stock of your weaknesses before the interview. Practice discussing them in a positive light. Youll find that they are minor when discussed along with all the positive things you have to offer.
11. Where do you want to be five years from now?
Saying that youd like to be president is unrealistic, yet few employers want people who are content to sit still. You might say, "in five years, Id like to have my bosss job. " If you cant qualify for your bosss job by then, you may not be the fright candidate.
