一、英語面試常見問題(1)
Q: Can you sell yourself in two minutes? Go for it.(你能在兩分鐘內(nèi)自我推薦嗎?大膽試試吧!)
A: With my qualifications and experience, I feel I am hardworking, responsible and diligent in any project I undertake. Your organization could benefit from my analytical and interpersonal skills.(依我的資格和經(jīng)驗,我覺得我對所從事的每一個項目都很努力、負(fù)責(zé)、勤勉。我的分析能力和與人相處的技巧,對貴單位必有價值。)

Q:Give me a summary of your current job description. (對你目前的工作,能否做個概括的說明。)
A:I have been working as a computer programmer for five years. To be specific, I do system analysis, trouble shooting and provide software support. (我干了五年的電腦程序員。具體地說,我做系統(tǒng)分析,解決問題以及軟件供應(yīng)方面的支持。) Q:Why did you leave your last job?(你為什么離職呢?)

Tell us about yourself.
這是一個有關(guān)你個性、背景、學(xué)習(xí)以及工作經(jīng)歷的非常寬泛的問題。你可以準(zhǔn)備一個簡潔的回答。
Why should we hire you?
招聘者正在問有關(guān)你的特點和強項的問題。當(dāng)然,對求職的公司也要有所了解,你的加入要給對方帶來效益才好。
Why did you leave your last job?
面試人員想要知道你是辭職的,還是被辭退的,或是下崗的,并希望了解原因。你最好實話實說,職場講究誠信。
Are you willing to relocate?
這代表著你是否愿意移居另一個城市或國家。
Tell me about your scholastic record.
這是指你在學(xué)校及大學(xué)所學(xué)的學(xué)科和成績。
Tell me about your extracurricular activities and interests.

這是在問你業(yè)余都做些什么和你的興趣,例如運動、音樂或旅游等。一個熱愛生活的人也會以很好的熱情投入工作。現(xiàn)在,很多企業(yè)都比較注意了解求職者的愛好,從外圍來考察一個人的綜合素質(zhì)。
How would your last boss describe you?
這句話的意思是你的上個老板是如何看待你的。最好作客觀陳述,包括前任老板對你的工作和為人的評價。
What salary are you expecting?
招聘者想要知道你對薪資的最低要求。恭喜你,話談到這里,說明對方對你已經(jīng)很有興趣了。別獅子大開口,也別委屈了自己。給自己和對方都留點余地。
可以問有什么培訓(xùn)項目,我可以參加?還有晉升空間
對方的問題一般有:

四、實戰(zhàn)舉例
很多面試者都被問到:“What are your weaknesses?”,即“你有哪些弱點”這樣的問題。
有些面試者會給出一個類似于“I am a perfectionist(我太追求完美了)”這樣的回答,希望能夠使弱點反而變成優(yōu)點,不過實際情況是面試官并不是這么好糊弄的。
比較實際一點的回答是,找出一個你卻是希望改進或加強的方面,并且最重要的是,要突出強調(diào)你為了改進自己都作了哪些努力。面試官并不是真的對你的弱點感興趣,關(guān)鍵是要了解你會如何處理這樣的問題,并且以此了解你的人品性格方面的特征。
類似這樣的回答:“As far as weaknesses, I really enjoy my work, and
sometimes I put in too much time. But by being aware of my tendency to 7
overwork, I have learned to pace myself more and work smarter”會是更好的選擇。
專業(yè)而熟練的職業(yè)技能結(jié)合流利的口語表達、清晰的英語思維、地道的英語發(fā)音、準(zhǔn)確而恰當(dāng)?shù)馁嫡Z運用、跨文化溝通技巧等將成為你應(yīng)聘外企的'主要競爭力。外教 William Hill告訴我:“I interviewed a lot of candidates in Shanghai, a few of which did impress me deeply with veteran skills. I was surprised at their spoken English because they appeared to be a Chinese American. I just couldnt decline them.”
在多人競爭某一職位時,簡單的“可以理解的”初級英語層次顯然不能夠凸顯個人實力。我建議應(yīng)聘者不妨關(guān)注一下自己的英語表達和發(fā)音,中國式英語是應(yīng)該避免的,多了解你即將應(yīng)聘的外企的國家文化,因為每個國家的文化不同會使面試過程的氛圍也不同。相對來講美國企業(yè)的面試比較relaxing,有點像一般的聊天,只不過聊的內(nèi)容不是普通的“閑聊”。如果在外企英文面試中能準(zhǔn)確地融入一些該國的俚語,則你的面試過程將會非常的愉快。
2、外企招聘時看重哪些英語證書?
如果外企的面試官是老外的話,那么國內(nèi)的一些英語考試如CET4、CET6、TEM4、TEM8等可能并不明顯,除了老外不了解這些考試外更多的在于這些考試并沒有對考生的口語能力進行測試。如果你開不了口,跟老外匯報工作或者交流觀點,哪怕你是證書狂也等于零!可是如果你用簡單的商務(wù)英語,交流你的工作,表達你的觀點,那你絕對可以打敗那些拿著證書開不了口的人!!!

常見典型問題拆招:
3、關(guān)于介紹自己的:Could you say something about yourself? Could you sell yourself within a few minutes?
這個問題可以說是大眾問題了,通過這個問題,面試官一方面大致把握一下你的英語水平,一方面找到和你交流的突破點,探尋本質(zhì),打破沙鍋是人力資源經(jīng)理的一慣作風(fēng),因此回答這個問題時務(wù)必事實求是,否則后面很可能無法自圓其說。不過這個問題其實也不復(fù)雜,與其說這個是測試應(yīng)聘者的問題,不如說是應(yīng)聘者賣弄自己英語的大好機會,So dont miss the boat!
你可以從以下幾個方面突出自己:職業(yè)技能強項,該技能的深入程度,該技能完成過的項目以及自己其他相關(guān)方面的深入研究和學(xué)習(xí)、探索,注意突出個性。請不要在自己的姓名、年齡、畢業(yè)學(xué)校、興趣愛好等方面浪費時間,也不用再把你的簡歷背誦一遍,因為老外已經(jīng)看過你的CV了。時間可以根據(jù)情況控制在2-3分鐘的樣子。注意外企英語面試是口頭表達的過程,建議在隨后的互動過程中多多使用口語化的表達,盡量讓自己融入整個對話(Conversation),而不是在教條式的背誦文章。
4、關(guān)于應(yīng)聘動機的:Why do you want work for us? What makes you come here today?
面試官想了解一下你的求職動機,看看你對公司是否有所了解。顯然這個功課是你來面試之前就應(yīng)該做好的,所以千萬別說開始面試了還不知道這個公司是做什么的。請在回答這個問題的時候充滿信心,不要說是來試試的(you really wanna take a try?), 9
如果能事先將公司信息整理好并梳理一下和自己的職業(yè)技能相結(jié)合來介紹,則可謂Perfect Response。
5、關(guān)于你的弱點:What do you think is your greatest weakness? May I know it? 注意后面那句是客氣的,千萬別說No,也別說"I dont think I have any weakness"?陀^地評價一下自己確實存在但對工作并不重要的缺點是一個不錯的辦法,當(dāng)然別忘了要提一下你將采取什么樣的辦法來克服或彌補自己的缺點。
6、關(guān)于你過去的工作:How do you like your last job? Why did you leave your last job?
面試官想通過你對過去的工作的看法,了解你對今后的工作態(tài)度。如果你說你不喜歡你過去的工作,那么你將面臨“既然不喜歡為什么卻會選擇”這樣的難題,最終結(jié)果是“缺乏判斷力或者沒有主見”。事實上你既然做過以前的工作,那么應(yīng)該多少還是比較喜歡的,不妨談?wù)勥^去的工作特點和你所負(fù)責(zé)的主要任務(wù),但要突出過去的工作趨于平淡且失去挑戰(zhàn)性,你可以在更艱巨的任務(wù)和崗位中發(fā)揮能力。同時面試官極有可能問你以前的同事和上司的一些問題,切記不要把責(zé)任歸咎到別人身上。
7、關(guān)于你將來的打算:How long do you propose to work here?
這個問題對職場老手來說簡直就是a piece of cake。簡潔的幾句話表達出你希望在這個公司一直工作下去即可,同時要體現(xiàn)出你的上進心,渴望與公司一起發(fā)展和進步,不斷提升自己。
8、反問的機會:Ok, now if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. 10
“Nope, I have none, thanks!”這樣的回答就完全錯了。抓住這個機會,把事先準(zhǔn)備好的問題和盤托出,多了解一些關(guān)于公司發(fā)展、職位要求、員工培訓(xùn)、員工晉升、員工福利等方面的問題。
其實外企英語面試并沒有什么特別之處,話題內(nèi)容上也跳不出中文面試的框框,無非是用英語來表達而已。在某些特定職位的招聘上,可能外企更看重的是個人的職業(yè)能力而對英語表達要求甚低;或者在某些特定的條件下沒有太多的競爭者,應(yīng)聘者不需要具備非常好的英語聽說能力就可拿到offer。但這些情況并不影響我們對自身競爭力的提升,卓越的英語聽說能力必將為你的職場生涯帶來裨益。

BTW,別忘了在"兩分鐘演說"的最后,輕吸一口氣,露出幸福的微笑,補上一句"Is there anything else you want to know?"
七、關(guān)鍵時刻來了,怎么談待遇 當(dāng)老板終于開始和你談具體工資數(shù)目時,你該怎么開口呢?關(guān)鍵句:Get the employer to say a number first.(讓雇主先說個數(shù)。)
你就可以這樣說:Were pretty close---Im seeking a range of
$38,000-$45,000, due to my extensive professional experience and impressive achievements. How flexible is your upper salary range?這樣雙方就可以繼續(xù)順利討論下去了。
