Good afternoon and thank you for coming today. My name is Daphne Fu, and I'm the Project Manager in Taipei for Jackson&Wang. I'm here today to present our firm's marketing plan, which is designed to introduce EarthSound's products to the wealthy Taiwan market. Our research shows that there are big profits waiting in Taiwan, so we're excited at the opportunities we see for EarthSound. I hope that some of our excitement will rub off on all of you.

I'll start with a few facts and figures about the health and beauty products market in Taiwan. Next, I'll go over the standard types of advertising that have been successful for these products in Taiwan. Finally, I'll analyze current opportunities and give a few recommendations. A booklet of the marketing plan will be handed out after the presentation, and it will give you all the details.

Notes:
1. rub off on 沾到;感染
Rub 原是“磨擦”的意思,而 rub off 則指“擦掉”;rub off on是美式用法,它的意思是“把(某物)擦掉,再把它抹于另一件物品上”,引申有“將個(gè)人想法、行為影響了他人或把情緒感染給別人”的喻意。值得注意的是,這個(gè)詞組是以物為主語(yǔ),而不是人,請(qǐng)參考本文和下例。

2. go over 瀏覽;仔細(xì)檢查

Presenter一站上講臺(tái),不論下面的聽(tīng)眾是否知道今天的主題,都要先介紹presentation的目的,這樣不僅可以幫助聽(tīng)眾了解下面要講的內(nèi)容,也是一個(gè)最普遍、正式的開(kāi)場(chǎng)白。"I am here today to..."就是個(gè)非常簡(jiǎn)潔實(shí)用的句型。
● 逐項(xiàng)說(shuō)明大綱

2. First,... Second,... Third (and last)
3. To begin with... Moving right along,... To close,...

說(shuō)明presentation的目的之后,接下來(lái)應(yīng)該把presentation的大綱按照順序告訴聽(tīng)眾,幫助聽(tīng)眾掌握內(nèi)容的架構(gòu)。而介紹大綱的關(guān)鍵是要條理分明、次序清楚。例如文中所用的"I'll start with...(一開(kāi)始是……)Next,...(接下來(lái)是……)Finally,...(最后是……)",就是一個(gè)很好的例子。

在開(kāi)始討論不同的主題之前,還是要把該段內(nèi)容的重點(diǎn)提一下,這樣可以幫助自己和聽(tīng)眾有條理地聽(tīng)和說(shuō)。I'd like to introduce... 是個(gè)很普遍的句型,可以清楚的告知觀眾,就要進(jìn)入某個(gè)主題了。
特別提示
講臺(tái)之于演說(shuō)者有如舞臺(tái)之于演員。舞臺(tái)上有些位置會(huì)使您成為觀眾矚目的焦點(diǎn);而有些位置卻會(huì)讓觀眾視而不見(jiàn)。聰明的演說(shuō)者應(yīng)學(xué)習(xí)站在正確的角度上,以適當(dāng)?shù)奈恢妹鎸?duì)您的觀眾。
當(dāng)演講者做presentation時(shí),講臺(tái)放置的位置以中央優(yōu)于左右兩旁,前方(靠近觀眾)勝于后方,左方又勝過(guò)右方。
在presentation時(shí),若是以演講者為主,則屏幕位置應(yīng)放置在演講者的右后側(cè),這就構(gòu)成了"人為主,屏幕為輔"的效果。
在presentation時(shí),無(wú)論是您的右半邊臉較好看,或是左半邊臉較迷人,正面整個(gè)面對(duì)觀眾是最強(qiáng)勢(shì)的位置,其次是正面75度角,再而半側(cè)面,背對(duì)則最弱。
