1. What are your strengths? 你的專長是什么?
你的長處可能跟你的特質(zhì)(attributes)、天賦(talents)、專業(yè)知識(expertise)或技能(skills)有關(guān),可以想想你的求學(xué)或工作經(jīng)驗中,是否培養(yǎng)或累積了能夠運用在所應(yīng)征工作上的專長,務(wù)必讓面試官了解到你的強項,與公司的需求以及職缺條件(qualifications)是一致的(consistent)。

1.I have an extremely strong work ethic. When I work on a project, I don’t want just to meet deadlines. Rather, I prefer to finish the project well ahead of schedule. Last year, I even earned a bonus for completing my two most recent reports one week early.

2. What are your weaknesses? 你的缺點是什么?
這個問題可能有點難回答,因為答得不好就會過分自暴其短?苫卮鹨粋跟應(yīng)征職缺較不相關(guān)的(less irrelevant)短處(shortcoming),或者過去曾經(jīng)有什么樣的缺點,向面試官說明你是如何改進這個缺點,并且指出你現(xiàn)在進步了多少。另外一種好的回答方式是把缺點化做優(yōu)點。

面試官也可能用另一種問法來問同樣的問題:What makes you the best fit for this position?也就是你為什么是最適合這個工作的人選?回答這個問題就像是自我推銷,簡單扼要地陳述自己過去的專業(yè)技能或工作成就(accomplishments),有自信地告訴對方自己最大的賣點(selling points),突顯個人與眾不同之處,也別忘了重申自己對所應(yīng)征工作和公司的興趣和向往。
