Learn what a self-confident person is really like. They are not cocky, know-it-all people who don’t care what anybody else thinks. They have their doubts. And make mistakes. And are far from perfect. However, they are willing to acknowledge their inadequacies without dwelling on them. They do this by maintaining a sense of humor, putting problems in perspective, and focusing mainly on what they’ve done right, not wrong.
Though self-confident people do believe in themselves, they don’t try to suffocate others with their ideas or beliefs. They are confident in what they know not only because they read, learn and think but also because they respect their instinct, intuition and the unique body of knowledge that they’ve developed by living life. They realize that one doesn't have to be labeled an “expert” to believe in one's own truths.
Self-confident people don’t undermine their own worth by comparing themselves with others, only to conclude that they aren’t “good enough”. They appreciate their strengths and accomplishments and can acknowledge, without embarrassment, their weaknesses. They don’t live in the “victim” position. Even if something really bad has occurred, they turn it into a challenge, remembering to be grateful for the little things in life.

So, thirty-one years ago today, I drove from Madison, Wisconsin, to Los Angeles, California. On the way, I passed Camp Randall, where my college graduation ceremony was in progress. I thought about going to the ceremony, but it meant I would've arrived in Hollywood one day later, and at the time I just didn't see the point. I wanted to get there.
Gertrude Stein once said about Hollywood, "When you get there, there is no 'there' there." That's true. However, there will be a swimming pool and tennis court. In the end, though, it's probably not enough to justify a life's journey. Getting there, particularly in show business, is tough enough. You need a combination of talent, ambition, luck and a willingness to tell actors how beautiful they look today.
In retrospect, getting there was the easy part. Finding a "there" there is much harder. So today, before you get into your cars and race off to the rest of your lives, I want to give you some advice on how to get there. And I want to help make sure that when you get there, you find a "there" there.
To that end, I will give you my five rules to think about, quickly forget, but years from now kick yourself for not having listened to.

尼采說，受苦的人沒有悲觀的權(quán)力，所以我們不一定要向著勝利微笑，但面對(duì)暫時(shí)的困難，我們必須微笑，而且是會(huì)心動(dòng)微笑。
埋首于通向成功征途，是必須真真正正"埋"下去的，這段日子需要休沉下來，靜下心來，只有保持"心靜如水"的狀態(tài)，才能投入最后的沖刺。
我們好比是在乘一輛車前往目的地，沿途的風(fēng)光很美，很誘人，但是你最好不要為了他們牽扯太多的精力， 而要使目光一直朝著終點(diǎn)的'方向看，如果忍不住跳下車去欣賞暫時(shí)的美景，這輛車就開走了，也許你會(huì)看到另一輛車，也許最后你同樣到達(dá)目的地，但那也不是你人生準(zhǔn)點(diǎn)的時(shí)刻了。
人生在特定的階段有著特殊的使命。
求學(xué)的階段，就是為實(shí)現(xiàn)人生目標(biāo)邁出重要一步的時(shí)候，如果錯(cuò)過這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)，你將追悔莫及，所以狠狠心，女孩子們暫且丟下那些漂亮的衣服和浪費(fèi)時(shí)間的打扮，男孩子們拋開那誘人的漫畫書和電腦游戲，放一放那一段遙不可及的"青蘋果"之戀吧!
夏天不摘秋天的果。
摘下來，食之不甜，棄之可惜，所以還是等到收獲的季節(jié)里再去品嘗豐收的喜悅吧!
擱置一下與前進(jìn)無關(guān)的心事，抬頭望天，用心靈看世界，因?yàn)樘?yáng)常新。
輕輕對(duì)自己說："如果沒有我，世界將少一個(gè)人欣賞這美麗的太陽(yáng)。"就是這樣一種心境，讓你始終把精彩留給自己!
