　　Jingle Bells(鈴兒響叮當(dāng))這首歌恐怕是最為人們熟悉的圣誕歌曲�？墒沁@首歌最初并不是為 圣誕節(jié) 所寫，而是為感恩節(jié)所作的。1857年，詞曲作家詹姆斯·羅德·皮爾彭特(James Lord Pierpont, 1822 - 1893[1] )的父親在波士頓一所學(xué)校任職。這首歌是吉米寫給父親的學(xué)生們，幫助學(xué)生們參加感恩節(jié)演出用的。歌中唱道：“雪橇奔馳在雪地上，我們歡笑一路上，鈴聲兒響徹四方，我們情緒高漲，笑得多開心，雪橇之歌今夜唱。叮叮當(dāng)，叮叮當(dāng)，鈴兒響叮當(dāng)……”明快的旋律、歡樂的場(chǎng)景、動(dòng)人的童聲合唱，使這首歌成為150年來最重要的圣誕節(jié)保留曲目，也是世界知名度最高的`歌曲。
