gmat語法改錯(cuò)的一個(gè)獨(dú)特之處在于A選項(xiàng)與題干劃線部分完全一樣，也就是說劃線句既是題干又可能是答案，這樣的話應(yīng)該怎么做呢?
據(jù)應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生留學(xué)網(wǎng)介紹，GMAT語法改錯(cuò)的一個(gè)獨(dú)特之處在于A選項(xiàng)與題干劃線部分完全一樣，也就是說劃線句既是題干又可能是答案，較之傳統(tǒng)題型有很大區(qū)別，因?yàn)槲覀円呀?jīng)習(xí)慣了從傳統(tǒng)語法改錯(cuò)給定的劃線部分挑毛病或完全認(rèn)定劃線句的合理性，從而對其進(jìn)行理解和分析。劃線句在給考生提示的同時(shí)又在制造干擾，我們在解題過程中要遵循劃線句而又不能受制于它，應(yīng)付起來并不容易。GMAT語法改錯(cuò)的考查要點(diǎn)主要集中在句子結(jié)構(gòu)、慣用搭配、邏輯關(guān)系、動(dòng)詞形式幾個(gè)方面，在對劃線句不肯定也不否定的前提下，這幾方面基本上也都是待定的，所以在解決語法改錯(cuò)題時(shí)利用排除法顯得至關(guān)重要，合理的方法是在劃線句中尋找語意之類的大體信息，從未劃線部分尋找提示，做到心中有數(shù)，然后反復(fù)比較選項(xiàng)間的差異，確定出最終答案�？忌梢酝ㄟ^以下幾個(gè)例子仔細(xì)體會(huì)一下。
1. For all his professed disdain of such activities, Aden was an inveterate literary gossip.
(A)For all his professed disdain of such activities
(B)Having always professed disdain for such activities

本題的劃線句成分比較簡單，所考查的要點(diǎn)為for的使用和profess，disdain兩個(gè)動(dòng)詞與未劃線句的對應(yīng)。B、C、D、E四個(gè)選項(xiàng)都將profess作為主語發(fā)出的動(dòng)作，分別用四種不同句型表達(dá)，如果主語發(fā)出的動(dòng)作重心在profess上，那么這句話的邏輯關(guān)系就出了問題，句子不通。排除掉四個(gè)選項(xiàng)之后，正確答案只剩A。如果能判斷到profess和disdain兩個(gè)動(dòng)詞究竟哪個(gè)與主語對應(yīng)這個(gè)層面上，其他四個(gè)選項(xiàng)就可以作為一個(gè)整體進(jìn)行排除。
2. The department defines a private passenger vehicle as one registered to an individual with a gross weight of less than 8,000 pounds.

本題的劃線句語法錯(cuò)誤是比較明顯的，只要牢記GMAT語法的一個(gè)原則：不省略從句引導(dǎo)詞，就能迅速判斷出正確答案為C。本題還考查了define as這樣一個(gè)固定搭配。其實(shí)如果語感比較強(qiáng)的話在讀劃線句的時(shí)候就已經(jīng)產(chǎn)生懷疑了，但先不要急著下結(jié)論，依舊要從五個(gè)選項(xiàng)中進(jìn)行排除，本題不需要再從未劃線部分尋找其他關(guān)于邏輯關(guān)系之類的提示。
3. Added to the increase in hourly wages requested last July, the railroad employees are now seeking an expanded program of retirement benefits.
(A)Added to the increase in hourly wages requested last July，the railroad employee are now seeking an expanded program of retirement benefits.
(B)Added to increase in hourly wages which had been requested last July，the employees of the railroad are now seeking an expanded program of retirement benefits.

這道題目比較特別，劃線句是全部的題干，這無疑增加了難度，可能是前半句有問題，也可能是后半句，或者都有問題抑或正確答案就是A。Added to這種用法并不常見，所以前半句有問題的可能性很大，通過使用排除法可以確定正確答案為E。注意E中的修飾wages的從句引導(dǎo)詞被省略了，但是這是相比之下的最合適的答案了，如果還有一個(gè)答案是沒有省略引導(dǎo)詞的，我們還是要選擇后者。
由此可見，我們對待GMAT語法改錯(cuò)劃線句沒有一個(gè)統(tǒng)一的方法而言，而要結(jié)合未劃線部分和其余四個(gè)選項(xiàng)從多方進(jìn)行比較、推敲來確定最合適的那一個(gè)。
