I am interested in the field of study of Organizational Behavior. In the past, I have had the experience of working in settings where the people and the corporate cultures of the companies were all different. I have found that there is a great difference in the both the behaviors of people and of their organizationsdepending on whether they are state-owned enterprises (SOEs), large multinational firms, or small to medium sized foreign enterprises. One simple example is that of the ability of an employee to act independently without direct instructions from his or her boss. In many Chinese organizations, acting without direct instructions is considered a form of disrespect towards the supervisor, who is generally offended by such behavior. In my experience and research, such organizations tend to have low operating efficiency with the employees losing their innate ability to take the initiative.

The purpose behind this personal statement is to not only gain admission to your well-established and highly respected Ph.D. program, but to impress upon you my passion for learning and my tremendous desire to succeed in both scholastic research and in teaching on the professional level. Thankfully, that day-to-day routine bike trip,rain or sunshine,tempered my strong character. I have been holding myself to highest standards, academically and physically from primary school days through to college life. 文書中最難寫是動機函（SOP），或者有的叫動機信（Motivation Letter）、個人陳述（PS）�？傮w上，這一類文書的技巧是，需要有邏輯的把以下幾點說明白：
你的背景；

I have found that thereis a great difference in the both the behaviors of people and of theirorganizations，depending on whether they are state-owned enterprises (SOEs)，large multinational firms，or small to medium sized foreign enterprises. Onesimple example is that of the ability of an employee to act independentlywithout direct instructions from his or her boss. In many Chinese organizations，acting without direct instructions is considered a form of disrespect towardsthe supervisor，who is generally offended by such behavior. In my experience andresearch，such organizations tend to have low operating efficiency with theemployees losing their innate ability to take the initiative.

I'M GOING RUNNING TODAY. I am not concerned about my calorie consumption forthe day，nor am I anxious to get in shape for the winter season. I just want togo running。
I used to dislike running. "If you don't win this game，you're all runningfive miles tomorrow，" the field hockey coach used to warn，during those lastdays of October when the average temperature seemed to be decreasingexponentially. And so，occasionally，my grief-stricken team would run numerousmiserable laps around the fields. At the end of these excursions，our faces andlimbs would be numb，and we would all have developed those notorious flu-likesymptoms; but the running made us better in the long run，I suppose.Nevertheless，I counted down the days until the end of the field hockey season，vowing never to put on a pair of running shoes again. Then I surprised myself bysigning up for outdoor track in the second half of sophomore year. I was foolishto have believed that I could ever escape this insidious and magneticaddiction。
Anyone would have thought that I'd be off the team in a few days，but thelast week of January caught me splashing through puddles of melted ice，andFebruary winds nearly blew me off the track. I looked forward to practices thistime around，to the claps and the persistent cheers of my fellow trackies. I wasfeeling a "runner's high" spurred by the endorphins released by exercise. But toattribute my affinity for running solely to chemistry diminishes the personalimportance that running has for me。
I like running—in the cool shade of the towering oak trees，and in the warmsunlight spilling over the horizon，and in the drops of rain falling gently fromthe clouds. Certain things become clear to me when I'm running—only whilerunning did I realize that "hippopoxxxxxi" is possibly the funniest word in theEnglish language，and only while running did I realize that the travel sectionof The York Times does not necessarily provide an accurate depiction of theentire world. Running lends me precious moments to contemplate my life：whilerunning I find time to dream about changing the world，to think about recentdeath of a classmate，or to wonder about the secret to college admission。
Running is the awareness of hurdles between me and the finish line; runningis the desire to overcome them. Running is putting up with aches and pains，relishing the knowledge that，in the end，I will have built strength andendurance. Running is the instant clarity of vision with which I can see myfuture just one hundred yards in the distance; it is the understanding thatthese crucial steps will determine victory or defeat。

Two of my main influences during the past few years have been from bothEnglish and History, and this is why I wish to study them as a Joint Honoursdegree.
Throughout Secondary School my interest and curiosity about English hasstretched beyond the A level syllabus. Reading a wide range of books fromclassics like Great Expectations to contemporary novels such as Monica Ali’sBrick Lane has allowed English to become more than just a sixth form subject,and transformed it into something which I find both intense and exhilarating.The role English plays in communication is something I also find deeplyfascinating as both a reader and a writer, as its impact on society is colossal.In a world where both the media and politics use language tools to theiradvantage there appears to be no limit to English’s influence, and no limit towhat remains to be discovered. Outside of my academic studies, I have had timeto enjoy English in the form of plays and theatre texts through taking partamateur dramatic productions. This has helped develop my understanding, as ithas allowed me an alternative perspective of literary pieces. Although I haveenjoyed both my English Literature and English Language A Level courses, I wouldnot feel satisfied to end my study of English here, as I have only just begun touncover some of the many things further study would reveal.
History is also something I find engrossing, as its foundations haveinfluenced our society’s outlook. Although History is learning about the past, Ifind it relevant to where we are today as previous events determine our future.Although cliché, the phrase ‘history repeats itself’ is often quite accurate asold events can give a greater insight into current debate and reforms insociety, something which I find extremely absorbing. Trips to places abroad havealso fuelled my want for more historical knowledge. After visiting the FirstWorld War Battlefields I realised there were areas I had already studied which Iwould like to go into in greater depth. Studying English and History as a degreewould give me the opportunity to do more developed independent studies inspecific areas.
Whilst Historians use English to portray a positive or negative view of aseries of events and analyse sources, those interested in English Language andLiterature seek a greater depth of insight and understanding of context throughHistorical events. This is why studying both English and History as a JointHonours degree would certainly be beneficial to my understanding of bothsubjects. Both English and History have allowed me to develop my ability to forman argument and have strengthened my analytical thinking, skills which are bothvital in Secondary Education, a career I wish to pursue.
Outside of school I have been able to develop my personal skills throughworking as a volunteer within the local community. For the past 5 years I havebeen a Young Leader with children aged 5-7 as part of Girlguiding UK. In 20xx Ialso completed 200 Millennium Volunteer hours working with young people fromless advantaged backgrounds as part of Forest Day Camps, a scheme set up by theYMCA. Within school I have been part of the Senior Students team, which includedhelping younger students in the school library. I have also been an activemember of the Redbridge Youth Theatre Workshop, and enjoy horse riding; both ofwhich have helped me develop confidence and independence through extracurricularactivities.

一、煙草制品
雪茄.煙草等東西，海關(guān)沒有嚴(yán)格禁止入境，但是可攜帶的數(shù)量是有著限制的，有一定的免稅的數(shù)量，而且只有滿了17歲的人才可以允許攜帶，不同的國家的學(xué)生入境限制還會有不同。
如果大家準(zhǔn)備帶的話，一定要記得提前在線上進行申報，這樣檢查的時候才不會受到刁難，超過數(shù)量要求的部分，大家要么選擇扔掉，要么選擇繳稅，小編建議大家不要帶，可以節(jié)省過海關(guān)的時間。
二、酒精飲料

一是xx大學(xué)是一所國家教育部直屬的，擁有研究生院，本科專業(yè)涵蓋了理、工、文、經(jīng)、管、法、教育等學(xué)科門類的綜合性重點大學(xué)，是一所有著堅實的學(xué)術(shù)基礎(chǔ)和嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)闹螌W(xué)傳統(tǒng)，校園環(huán)境優(yōu)美的大學(xué)。在這樣的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境里，無論是在知識能力，還是在個人素質(zhì)修養(yǎng)方面，我會受益匪淺。
二是xx大學(xué)是一所以工為主的大學(xué)，這符合了我的學(xué)科興趣，我是一個理科生，尤其以數(shù)學(xué)、物理學(xué)科見長，這次推薦我參加自主招生的就是我的數(shù)學(xué)老師和物理老師。我喜歡在這樣自主開放的環(huán)境里學(xué)習(xí)，希望可以有更為廣闊的發(fā)展前景。
三是xx大學(xué)堅持以“厚基礎(chǔ)，寬口徑，強能力，高素質(zhì)”的`人才培養(yǎng)計劃，在教學(xué)中注重創(chuàng)新能力培養(yǎng)，注重提高學(xué)生的綜合素質(zhì)，學(xué)校實施了一系列教學(xué)改革新包括：名師上講臺工程、中英文雙語教學(xué)工程、“創(chuàng)新人才培養(yǎng)”工程、本碩連讀制度等，還有一系列的完善學(xué)分制管理的制度，包括主輔修制、彈性學(xué)制、第二學(xué)位制、優(yōu)異生培養(yǎng)制度等。
現(xiàn)在有很多的大學(xué)生畢業(yè)后面臨就業(yè)難的問題，這也將是我今后不能回避的，但我想，這是一個適應(yīng)社會的問題。大學(xué)是一個可以接觸并嘗試眾多領(lǐng)域的獨一無二的場所，是一個溝通社會的平臺。我希望這里掌握生活技能，培養(yǎng)自己的社會角色，使自己能承擔(dān)社會責(zé)任，權(quán)利和義務(wù)，成為一個真正的社會人。
