　　聽(tīng)力：女生同意，自己也想去，說(shuō)了兩個(gè)理由：(1) gain experiments looks good on resume;(2) 有學(xué)分，可以不用上其他的課，有更多時(shí)間為newspaper 寫(xiě)report。

　　4. 閱讀：planning fallacy: fail to consider all the possible factors that affect the project and lead to the inaccuracy in estimate the time that cost to complete then lead to bad consequences，意思是人很難預(yù)測(cè)到潛在的問(wèn)題(potential problems)。

　　聽(tīng)力：教授舉了自己的例子。他在大學(xué)時(shí)，有一次教授 tell them couple months in advance, but hethink himself as a fast worker, so he didn’t do in until the day before deadline。到了圖書(shū)館，借了書(shū)，寫(xiě)一半發(fā)現(xiàn)不夠，材料只夠?qū)? 頁(yè)，于是又回圖書(shū)館，可是關(guān)門(mén)了，所以只能遲交作文，最后得了很低的分?jǐn)?shù)，雖然他教授覺(jué)得他的內(nèi)容很好。

　　5. 男生在spring break 要去西班牙玩，準(zhǔn)備拍照，但是數(shù)碼相機(jī)丟了，女生讓他買(mǎi)，但是他說(shuō)沒(méi)有enough money。他自己說(shuō)他朋友Jack 可以借給他，但是他不想向他借。女生說(shuō)：對(duì)，萬(wàn)一broken或者 stolen 就不好了。

　　6. 水里的動(dòng)物如何適應(yīng)rapid current，教授舉了兩個(gè)例子。(1) black fly larva 身體底下有吸盤(pán)，像anchor，吸在石頭上;(2) 是sculpin，沒(méi)有魚(yú)鰾，沉在水底sink in water。
