教材分析
How many birds can you see? 是科普版小學(xué)英語(yǔ)四年級(jí)下冊(cè)的內(nèi)容。本課圍繞Eve和 Tom的談話展開教學(xué),課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)倡導(dǎo)任務(wù)型教學(xué),既讓學(xué)生在教學(xué)活動(dòng)中參與和完成真實(shí)的教學(xué)任務(wù),從中體驗(yàn)學(xué)習(xí)的快樂。
學(xué)情分析
教學(xué)對(duì)象為四年級(jí)的學(xué)生,他們只是有一年的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言積累的初學(xué)者,很樂于豐富自己的英語(yǔ)詞匯,而且很善于表現(xiàn)自我。本科通過一些任務(wù)活動(dòng),使其在活動(dòng)中找我新知并靈活運(yùn)用。
教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1. Learn the new words“any, egg, twelve” understanding only
2.Learn sentence patterns“Can you see....?” Yes, I can.
How many…can you see? I can see....
教學(xué)重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)
句型 How many ...can you see? I can see...
Lesson 5How many birds can you see ?
Step1 Warm-----up
Go up to some students and talk to them like this:
T : Good morning.
Ss: Good morning.
T : Hello what’s your name?
S1: My name is....
T:Nice to meet you
S1:Nice to meet you, too.
T: What grade are you in?
S2:I am in Grade ....
T: Are you in Class ...?
S3:Yes ,I am. No, I’m not.
Step 2 Revision
A: Teacher shows the cards and speaks the numbers with students together.
B: Competition
Teacher speaks and lets the students show the right numbers .
C: Say the numbers together.
Step 3 Presentation
Teacher shows a ruler and practise like this:
T : What’sthis ?
S1:It’s a ruler.
T: What can you see?
S1: I can see a ruler.
1. Learn the new words “any”Teacher shows many rulers and asks
T: What can you see ?
S2: I can see some ruler.
T: Can you see any(一些) rulers ? read any for several times
S2: Yes, I can.
2. Learn the sentence pattern “How many ... can you see?”
Look at the slide and let the student learn the words egg,then ask and answer like this;
T: What’s this?
S: It’s an egg.
T:What can you see ?
S:I can see some eggs .
T:How many can you see ? (Let’s count them)
S:I can see twelve . (Read twelve for several times)
3. Show others pictures and practice the sentence pattern “Can you see any...?” “How many can you see ?”
4.Turn to page 21 ,show the title on the blackboard.

Step4 Drills
1. Play the recorder for the students to let the students listen to the whole dialogue. Play again and let the Ss repeat it.
2. Divide the whole class into two parts. One half will be Tom and the other will be Eve .Let the Ss practise the dialogue several times .Then change roles and practise the dialogue again .
3. Drill in pairs, let Ss practice the dialogue with their partners.
Step5 Practice
Ask some pairs to come to the front and act out the dialogue. Encourage then to use other words expressions and sentences they have learned.
Step 6 Consolidation
Review the new words and the sentence pattern have learned in this class.
