  并非內(nèi)容越多,說明你本人越有料越厲害的。一般來說英文的簡歷是建議在一頁之內(nèi)搞定,而美國的話,因為用的是 8.5' x 11' 的 US Letter Paper,其實比 A4 還要短一些,所以讓人非常容易把它塞爆。一份非常密密麻麻幾乎沒有空白部分的簡歷,一眼看上去就是非常讓人不舒服的。而大公司應(yīng)聘者多,HR 在初次篩選的時候最多只會在一份簡歷上花 1-2 分鐘,因此特別忌諱大塊文字無從看起。

  有不少具體的做法可以幫助你把握好簡歷的密集程度:

  1. 字體最小不能小于 10 號(但也不能大于 12 號,一般用 11、12 號的最多)。

  2. 四周的頁邊距控制在 0.8 英寸左右。

  3. 這條非常重要:為每一類(甚至每一個)不同的`職位量身定做簡歷。作為在;騽偖厴I(yè)的大學(xué)生或者工作時間不久的人,找工作會比較不挑剔,于是大學(xué)實習(xí)期間可能會有 3、4 個完全不同類別的工作和學(xué)生活動。這個時候如果為了顯示經(jīng)歷豐富而把風(fēng)馬牛不相及的工作/活動全部寫上是非常不合適的,第一個問題就是相關(guān)性,第二個就是現(xiàn)在正在討論的簡歷太密密麻麻。所以說同樣找一個行業(yè)的工作,如果工作是比較面向客戶的,可以只寫與社交、溝通、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力相關(guān)的工作和活動經(jīng)驗;反之如果是坐辦公室的工作,則可以著重于組織,凸顯相關(guān)的能力。
