應(yīng)用文主要包括書(shū)信、摘要、報(bào)告、備忘錄四種。下面以求職信為例，談應(yīng)用文的寫(xiě)作，希望讀者能舉一反三。同時(shí)求職信是大學(xué)生步入社會(huì)、走向工作崗位的第一步，了解求職信的寫(xiě)法具有實(shí)際意義。

　　在英文求職信中表達(dá)自己的能力是很重要的，因?yàn)檫@體現(xiàn)你究竟能為公司做什么，直接關(guān)系到求職的成功率。但是也要注意一定要用最少的文字表達(dá)最多的意思。

　　7.Since leaving school，I have attended Typewriting and Shorthand classes，and have now attained a speed of fifty and ninety words respectively。離開(kāi)學(xué)校后，我參加打字與速記班，而今已達(dá)到打字50字，速記90字的速度。
