定義
求職信也稱作covering letter。 求職信在應(yīng)聘工作時(shí)非常重要。你的求職信是你給未來(lái)的雇主留下第一印象。如果求職信寫的不好,即使簡(jiǎn)歷些的再好也沒(méi)有人會(huì)讀,因?yàn)榇蠹乙欢ㄒ獙懞们舐毿拧?/p>
格式
求職信的格式通常包括三個(gè)部分,可以分為三段
Introduction - Reason for writing
開(kāi)始段: 寫信的原因
Main Body- a). Background information about yourself such as achievements and experiences). Reasons for applying and required response.
主段:a).你自己的背景情況,例如:取得何種成就和經(jīng)驗(yàn) b).應(yīng)聘的原因和按要求所做的回應(yīng)
In the body of your covering letter, mention one or tow advantages, from the employer's point of view, of hiring you. Be sure to avoid bragging or being pushy and to maintain a polite,neutral-to-formal tone.站在你未來(lái)的雇主的角度上,在求職信中提一兩點(diǎn)他或她雇傭你的優(yōu)勢(shì)。確保避免過(guò)于狂妄,并且應(yīng)該保持有禮貌、溫和和正式的語(yǔ)調(diào)。
Conclusion - Suggest what the reader should do
結(jié)束段:建議讀信的人應(yīng)該采取何種措施
The final paragraph should offer to provide any other information or details the prospective employer might want.
最后一段應(yīng)該給你未來(lái)的雇主提供其他一些信息和細(xì)節(jié)。
求職信根據(jù)內(nèi)容多少也可以分成更多地段,比如分成4段
There should probably be four paragraphs:
1. Reference to the advertisement(提及廣告)
2. Education and work background(教育和工作背景)
3. Why I want the job(我為什么想要這個(gè)份工作)
4. Enclosure(隨信附上何種物品)
具體地講,求職信應(yīng)該提到:
1. How I heard about the job. 我是如何知道這個(gè)工作的。
2. Qualifications 我的學(xué)歷和資格
3. Experience 介紹一下我的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)
4. Why I want the job 我為什么想要得到這份工作
5. CV and Photo 隨信附上簡(jiǎn)歷和照片
6.Prepare for an interview 準(zhǔn)備參加面試
