一、語(yǔ)言表達(dá)要簡(jiǎn)潔明了
避免使用太多的專業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ)和過(guò)分復(fù)雜的句子。一方面用人單位不會(huì)在一份簡(jiǎn)歷上花費(fèi)太多的時(shí)間;另外一個(gè)方面,簡(jiǎn)潔的語(yǔ)言表述也能體現(xiàn)出你珍惜他人的時(shí)間。
二、在求職信的第一個(gè)段落當(dāng)中應(yīng)該明確地告訴對(duì)方你是在何家媒體看到應(yīng)聘廣告以及所要應(yīng)聘職位的名稱,例如Youradvertisementfor (職位名稱)a Network Maintenance Engineer in (媒體名稱)theApril 10Student Daily interested me。這樣有助于對(duì)方了解招聘信息的有效傳播途徑。
三、語(yǔ)言客觀實(shí)際。
英文求職信中應(yīng)避免自己的主觀判斷性的語(yǔ)言和評(píng)論性的話語(yǔ),不要過(guò)分渲染自我尤其不要說(shuō)出與事實(shí)不符的能力或特性來(lái)。為了避免過(guò)多的主觀性描述,你可以在自己的簡(jiǎn)歷當(dāng)中用客觀的數(shù)字和引述別人的話語(yǔ)來(lái)描述自己的實(shí)際情況。
例如:I have passed CET-6 with a high mark of 96.
四、重視開(kāi)頭、結(jié)尾。
在求職信的結(jié)尾,我們通常要提及關(guān)于希望得到面試的事情。因此,結(jié)尾一樣要引起重視。在表達(dá)自己的這樣的意愿的時(shí)候,切忌軟弱、羞怯的表達(dá)方式,例如:Ifyouthink I can fill the position after you have read my letter, Ishallbe glad to talk with you。
五、表現(xiàn)個(gè)人特色。
求職的信件要具個(gè)人特色、親切且能體現(xiàn)出專業(yè)水平。切不可過(guò)于隨意,也不能拘泥于格式——商業(yè)信函應(yīng)該是一種既正式、又非正式的文體。句子結(jié)構(gòu)和長(zhǎng)度應(yīng)富于變化,使閱信人總保持興趣。內(nèi)容、語(yǔ)氣、用詞的選擇和對(duì)希望的表達(dá)要積極,應(yīng)該充分顯示出你是一個(gè)樂(lè)觀、有責(zé)任心、有創(chuàng)造力和通情達(dá)理的人。
