1.HR喜歡看到什么樣的英文簡(jiǎn)歷
首先要清楚HR經(jīng)理以何種方式篩選簡(jiǎn)歷。求職者一般都知道HR在篩選簡(jiǎn)歷時(shí)不是在“看”,而是在“Scan”(掃描)。有人計(jì)算過(guò),招聘高峰期招聘人員平均6秒就會(huì)“看”一份簡(jiǎn)歷。有的知名企業(yè)的Recruiter (招聘人員)最多每天要篩選500份簡(jiǎn)歷。他們是如何做到的呢?招聘人員在看簡(jiǎn)歷前,心里已經(jīng)很清楚公司要找一個(gè)什么樣的人,也清楚自己在找什么樣的簡(jiǎn)歷。所以簡(jiǎn)歷上的長(zhǎng)篇累牘不會(huì)對(duì)求職者有太多加分。篩選出合適的簡(jiǎn)歷后,決定最終發(fā)出面試通知還得取決于簡(jiǎn)歷與職位需求間的匹配度,及該職位需要到位時(shí)間的緊迫性和市場(chǎng)上類(lèi)似候選人的多寡。所以,尤其是希望換行業(yè)的求職者,應(yīng)在能崗匹配上多下功夫。

2.如何讓你的簡(jiǎn)歷脫穎而出
1.“關(guān)鍵詞搜索”: 要針對(duì)HR經(jīng)理的搜索習(xí)慣、配合網(wǎng)絡(luò)的搜索詞,寫(xiě)出可以迅速將應(yīng)聘崗位同你的簡(jiǎn)歷匹配的“關(guān)鍵詞”。
2. 附上正裝近照:如果簡(jiǎn)歷上有一張你的正裝照片,會(huì)讓招聘人員看到直觀的你且印象深刻。但如果是藝術(shù)照就不是專(zhuān)業(yè)度的體現(xiàn)了。
3. 避免簡(jiǎn)歷套話(huà):簡(jiǎn)歷套話(huà)要堅(jiān)決避免,如“你給我一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì),我還你一份驚喜”。剛收到的一份簡(jiǎn)歷開(kāi)篇寫(xiě)道:“Any position matching my background can be the one I will be looking for, and I am also flexible andcould also take the challenge position I had no experience for.”(我在尋找任何符合我背景的職位,我還可以承擔(dān)起任何我沒(méi)有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的挑戰(zhàn)性工作。”乍一看,貌似英文很好,其實(shí)空洞無(wú)物。
3.英文簡(jiǎn)歷撰寫(xiě)常見(jiàn)問(wèn)題
1. Cover Letter(求職意向書(shū)) 一定需要寫(xiě)嗎? 英文簡(jiǎn)歷最好有一份Cover Letter,將你為什么加入該公司,個(gè)人能力是否和所對(duì)應(yīng)的崗位匹配,你的強(qiáng)項(xiàng)在哪里,再表一下決心。許多實(shí)力雄厚的本地化企業(yè)覺(jué)得求職意向書(shū)多此一舉,但真正有外派人員的企業(yè)還是很看重求職意向書(shū)的。
2. CV、Resume、Personal Profile的區(qū)別:現(xiàn)在常有人把CV和Resume混起來(lái)稱(chēng)為“簡(jiǎn)歷”,精確來(lái)講,CV(Curriculum Vitae)源于拉丁語(yǔ),,應(yīng)是“履歷”的意思。在美國(guó),CV主要是用于申請(qǐng)學(xué)術(shù)、教育、科研職位,歐洲、中東、非洲和亞洲等地,CV更常用于應(yīng)征工作。而源于法語(yǔ)的Resume才是“簡(jiǎn)歷”的意思。Resume一般概述了與求職有關(guān)的教育經(jīng)歷,是對(duì)經(jīng)驗(yàn)技能的摘要。Personal Profile 是更加精煉的個(gè)人介紹,著重點(diǎn)為工作業(yè)績(jī)、學(xué)術(shù)成果等,一般不涉及太多個(gè)人信息。
3. Gender 和Sex 不要搞混:Gender 是社會(huì)性別,Sex 是生物性別,也叫自然性別。Gender 是更加地道的簡(jiǎn)歷用語(yǔ)。例如:Gender: Male/ Female.
4. Contact Information( 聯(lián)系方式): 國(guó)外的簡(jiǎn)歷聯(lián)系地址要寫(xiě)得很詳細(xì),國(guó)內(nèi)一般不要求,但電子郵件一定不要寫(xiě)現(xiàn)在公司的地址。另外因?yàn)槿瞬帕鲃?dòng)量大,一定要寫(xiě)清楚現(xiàn)在的城市。例如:5F, **Building, Chaoyang District, Beijing,China.
5. 工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)的順序安排:我曾見(jiàn)到過(guò)一份簡(jiǎn)歷,學(xué)心理學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)出身,后來(lái)做過(guò)市場(chǎng)和銷(xiāo)售,簡(jiǎn)歷是根據(jù)其做過(guò)的行業(yè)、項(xiàng)目類(lèi)別分類(lèi)。給人感覺(jué)非常混亂,無(wú)法清楚看到某一時(shí)間段的持續(xù)性業(yè)績(jī),最好把自己的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)按照時(shí)間來(lái)排序,一些階段性(幾個(gè)月)的工作可以不用提及。
6. 海歸寫(xiě)英文簡(jiǎn)歷也需要幫忙嗎?很多海歸是在非英語(yǔ)國(guó)家如:德國(guó)、法國(guó)接受教育,英文未必是留學(xué)所在國(guó)的授課或生活常用語(yǔ)言。所以,這要因人而異,量力而為,適當(dāng)尋求專(zhuān)業(yè)幫助。
7. Spelling Check (拼寫(xiě)檢查)、Grammar Check一定要找別人進(jìn)行:語(yǔ)法要保持一致。建議在描述工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)時(shí)盡量用動(dòng)詞開(kāi)頭。例如:Coordinate with Account Manager; Is responsible for strategy, planning,marketing/positioning; Skilled in working acrossbusiness segments.
8. 工作經(jīng)歷要用數(shù)字!工作經(jīng)歷和經(jīng)驗(yàn)的描述不等于現(xiàn)在的工作崗位說(shuō)明書(shū),多用數(shù)字說(shuō)話(huà),寫(xiě)明主要業(yè)績(jī)。例如:Published 20 articles, worked for almost 10 years, served 50 customers.
9.Bullet Point (要點(diǎn)式):在陳述工作經(jīng)歷、教育背景時(shí),注意用要點(diǎn)式,不要用1、2、3等有邏輯關(guān)系的方式。
