B： barbecue 來源于海地語，最初是指由樹樁制成的木制平臺(tái)，是人們當(dāng)床用的 。而barbecue 最早出現(xiàn)在英語之中有“床”和“燒烤架”兩種意思，到了18世紀(jì)才發(fā)展成今天的“烤肉,燒烤”之意。大家是不是越聽越有食欲了呢?好了，選擇一個(gè)風(fēng)和日麗的周末和你的mom and dad 一起去barbecue 吧!

B：今天我們要介紹另一種動(dòng)物，sheep，綿羊。
A：當(dāng)我們把顏色 black 黑色 和 sheep 綿羊放在一起使用時(shí)，意思可就完全不一樣了哦。
Sheep 綿羊是性情溫順的動(dòng)物，通常用來比喻善良，純潔的人。一群綿羊中有時(shí)會(huì)夾雜一只長黑毛的綿羊，因?yàn)楹诰d羊不如白綿羊值錢，所以black sheep 就比喻為無用之輩，大家明白了嗎?black sheep 指人時(shí)是“無用之輩”的意思哦，大家一定要記住，千萬不要鬧出笑話了。
A：今天說到sheep綿羊，我們?cè)僬f說其它動(dòng)物吧，說起魚(fish)你們一定嘴巴有點(diǎn)兒饞了吧!可要小心喲，并不是所有的“fish”魚都能吃的。
B：不信 !那今天我們就來說說不能吃的fish.提起fish，它給人們的第一印象便是指“魚”，A：但在英語口語里，fish還常常被用來指“人”，類似于漢語里的“家伙、東西”等。

我們中國人見面打招呼時(shí)習(xí)慣說：您吃過了嗎?(Have you eaten? / Have you had your meal?)或者說：您上哪去?(Where are you going? )。而英美人見面時(shí)如果是上午則說：Good morning. 如果是在下午則說：Good afternoon, 在傍晚就說：Good evening. 如果與熟人打招呼則說：How are you? 如果是與較熟的人或朋友打招呼則說：Hello, 或Hi. 如果用我們中國人見面打招呼時(shí)常說的'"Have you eaten?"去問候英美人，就會(huì)引起對(duì)方的誤解，因?yàn)?Have you eaten?"在英語里不是打招呼用語，而是"邀請(qǐng)對(duì)方去吃飯"。如果見到英美人時(shí)說："Where are you going?"他們會(huì)很不高興。因?yàn)?Where are you going?"對(duì)英美人來說則是"即干涉別人的私事。"
