閱讀課文
新概念的課文多以故事呈現(xiàn)，趣味性強(qiáng)，而且難度層層遞進(jìn)，很適合用來做閱讀材料。
推薦多次閱讀，熟悉文章，培養(yǎng)語感。
如第二冊的Lesson 15——Good News，作者深諳反轉(zhuǎn)的魅力，短短幾句描述出“我”忐忑——絕望——驚喜的心情轉(zhuǎn)變。
The secretary told me that Mr. Harmsworth would see me. I felt very nervous when I went into his office.
He did not look up from his desk when I entered. After I had sat down, he said that business was very bad.
He told me that the firm could not afford to pay such large salaries. Twenty people had already left. I knew that my turn had come.
'Mr.Harmsworth,' I said in a weak voice.
'Don't interrupt,' he said.
Then he smiled and told me I would receive an extra thousand pounds a year!
單詞解析
新概念里出現(xiàn)的單詞都是最基本常用的詞匯，實用且重要，一定要掌握。
如果單純記單詞不容易記住，可以放到句子里去理解學(xué)習(xí)。

secretary '[sekrtri]起源于拉丁語，發(fā)音略難。記憶secretary可以聯(lián)系secret(秘密)這個詞。
身為秘書，接觸公司的各項事務(wù)，自然能了解到不少秘密。
nervous：adj. 焦慮的，緊張的
像許多學(xué)生考試前總會很緊張，就可以說Examinations make me nervous.
關(guān)聯(lián)詞語：irritable adj. 易怒的
He is such an irritable person, you can hardly speak to him.
look up：抬頭看，向上看;查閱
look the word up in the dictionary 查字典

afford：
1. v. 買得起(常與can/can't連用)
I can't afford the apartment.(房價逆天了…)

2. v. 擔(dān)負(fù)得起(損失、后果等)，花得起(時間)
I can't afford to be hurt.(玻璃心傷不起~)
I can't afford time gossiping with you.
such adj. 如此的，這樣的`(修飾名詞)，名詞前可加形容詞。
such a cute baby ;such good news
so adj.如此的，這樣的(修飾形容詞/副詞)
當(dāng)名詞前用many/much修飾時，前面用so，而非such
例如：so many people
turn n. 輪流，輪班
It's your turn. 輪到你了。
in a… voice 表示用……的聲音
in a loud/low voice
interrupt v. 打斷，停止
You interrupted my thoughs.
He interrupeted his work to eat his lunch.
extra adj. 額外的

課后練習(xí)
進(jìn)行課后鞏固練習(xí)，檢驗學(xué)習(xí)效果。
學(xué)完后反復(fù)誦讀課文，嘗試逐句翻譯，加深對學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的記憶。
新概念的課后習(xí)題一般包括理解(考察對課文的掌握)、結(jié)構(gòu)(考察語法)、詞匯(考察單詞記憶)，為學(xué)習(xí)者提供多維度的鞏固練習(xí)。
嘗試背誦
