一、寫作時(shí)間安排
雅思寫作考試時(shí)間僅僅為一個(gè)小時(shí)，而且要在這一個(gè)小時(shí)內(nèi)完成兩篇作文，可想而知，難度有多大，尤其是對(duì)那么基礎(chǔ)不是特別好，時(shí)間安排也不是特別合理的考生來(lái)說(shuō)就更難了。時(shí)間是寶貴而重要的，不能浪費(fèi)一分一秒，考生又該如何有效安排寫作考試時(shí)間呢?
為達(dá)到此目的，考生可以在平時(shí)進(jìn)行實(shí)戰(zhàn)練習(xí)，正所謂臺(tái)上一分鐘，臺(tái)下十年功，想要在真正考試時(shí)合理把控時(shí)間，那么在平時(shí)就少不了練習(xí)。在練習(xí)時(shí)，小作文盡量在20分鐘左右完成，大作文在40分鐘左右完成。需要強(qiáng)調(diào)一點(diǎn)的是，考生在練習(xí)時(shí)，最好要拿正式答題紙并用鉛筆寫作，這樣可以讓自己提前熟悉考試模式，避免失誤。
若是考生一開始并不能做到在相應(yīng)的時(shí)間內(nèi)就完成寫作任務(wù)，那么也不要著急，一步一步來(lái)，慢慢掌握之后就會(huì)大有改進(jìn)。
二、寫作任務(wù)要求
在雅思寫作評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中，對(duì)寫作任務(wù)有明確的要求，若是目標(biāo)分為6分，那么在作答時(shí)，就要回應(yīng)題目所有要求，立場(chǎng)切題，主要觀點(diǎn)有相關(guān)性等，若是目標(biāo)分為7分，那么就要回應(yīng)題目所有要求，自始至終立場(chǎng)清晰，既表達(dá)了主要觀點(diǎn)，也提供了論據(jù)以及對(duì)論據(jù)進(jìn)行了拓展。想要完成寫作任務(wù)并不簡(jiǎn)單，很多考生也因此而丟分。
所以，考生要想有所突破的話，就要掌握不同雅思大作文題型特點(diǎn)以及審題技巧。比如針對(duì)雙邊討論類題型，這類題型要求考生對(duì)雙方觀點(diǎn)進(jìn)行各自討論，只寫其中一方不算是完成任務(wù)，考生要多加注意。另外，動(dòng)筆寫之前，考生要弄清題目中兩方觀點(diǎn)之間的關(guān)系，是否有沖突(觀點(diǎn)是贊成一方)，是否說(shuō)的問(wèn)題不是同一個(gè)(觀點(diǎn)可以折中)，這樣才能判斷文章到底該怎么寫以便對(duì)題目要求進(jìn)行合理的論述。
三、寫作題庫(kù)變化莫測(cè)
雅思寫作不同于托福寫作那樣有一個(gè)比較完善的題庫(kù)，考生可以對(duì)其進(jìn)行練習(xí)，準(zhǔn)備好所需的詞匯或是寫作思路等等，雅思寫作題庫(kù)并不固定，所以備考難度就會(huì)加大備考難度。
不過(guò)，雖然題庫(kù)不固定，但是雅思寫作題材是比較固定的，如教育，社會(huì)，政府，環(huán)境，法律，文化，動(dòng)物等等，這些題材的固定以及各自所涉及的詞匯，句型，寫作思路都會(huì)給考生帶來(lái)一定的幫助�？忌谄綍r(shí)對(duì)自己不熟悉的題材或是題目多多掌握并勤加練習(xí)，會(huì)大有收獲。
四、大作文學(xué)術(shù)性偏強(qiáng)
雅思大作文是議論文，而且學(xué)術(shù)性質(zhì)較強(qiáng)。然而，很多考生卻以為學(xué)術(shù)寫作與一般的寫作沒(méi)有什么區(qū)別，在用詞，文體等上面也沒(méi)有準(zhǔn)確使用，這都會(huì)影響作文分?jǐn)?shù)。
既然是學(xué)術(shù)寫作，那么在寫作過(guò)程中就應(yīng)該注意該用什么樣的詞匯，以及文體等等，以此避免不必要的失誤。
在詞匯上，用要正式的詞匯，如harm用endanger，undermine等表達(dá)，文體上用正式的寫作文體，也就是不能出現(xiàn)縮寫形式，避免口語(yǔ)詞匯，英式拼寫與美式拼寫不能混用等等。所應(yīng)注意的事項(xiàng)有很多，考生一定要全面了解，在寫作中不要犯錯(cuò)，這樣才有機(jī)會(huì)拿到高分。
