　　要素一：現(xiàn)象句

　　雅思寫作考題中會出現(xiàn)一個社會現(xiàn)象，考生的任務(wù)就是在自己文章的第一句話將之改寫，重述這個社會現(xiàn)象。

　　E.g. 1

　　Nowadays we are producing more and more rubbish. Why do you think this is happening? What can governments do to help reduce the amount of rubbish produced?

　　It is true that in almost every country today each household and family produces a large amount of waste every week.

　　套句+同義詞替換：more and more= a large amount of

　　E.g. 2

　　Some people believe that children should be allowed to stay at home and play until they are six or seven years old. Others believe that it is important for young children to go to school as soon as possible.

　　What do you think are the advantages of attending school from a young age?

　　In many places today, children start primary school at around the age of six or seven.

　　主被動之間的轉(zhuǎn)換：should be allowed to stay at home = start their primary school

　　同義詞的替換：until they are six or seven years old = at the age of six or seven

　　E.g. 3

　　In some countries young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting university studies. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages for young people to do this.

　　It is quite common these days for young people in many countries to have a break from studying after graduating from high school.

　　主被動之間的`轉(zhuǎn)換，以及同義替換：finish high school = graduate from high school

　　所以，從上文中可以看出，一般來說，現(xiàn)象句會在最開始加上一個套句，并且加上地點(diǎn)和時間。

　　雅思大作文開頭段經(jīng)典套句：

　　1.It is true that... ...是真實(shí)的

　　2.I tend to agree that… 我同意…

　　3.It is quite common… …是常見的

　　4.There is no doubt that… …是毫無疑問的

　　5.There is no denying that… …是毫無疑問的

　　地點(diǎn)：in many places; in many countries; in many big cities; almost every country/ city/ place

　　時間：in recent decades/ years; today; these days; recently; nowadays

　　要素二：點(diǎn)到問題

　　雅思大作文考題分成兩種：report & argumentative。

　　對于report(題目一般會涉及到why do you think it is important to…; how do you think people can tackle this problem.)

　　E.g. 4

　　In many countries schools have severe problems with student behavior.

　　What do you think are the cause of this?

　　What solutions can you suggest?

　　Poor student behavior seems to be increasingly widespread problem and I think that modern lifestyles are probably responsible for this.

　　點(diǎn)到了causes--直接把原因泛泛的帶領(lǐng)出來，全文的第二段再開始慢慢細(xì)致的描述。

　　E.g. 5

　　Happiness is considered to be very important in life.

　　Why is it difficult to define?

　　What factors are important in achieving happiness?

　　Happiness is very difficult to define, because it means so many different things to different people. While some people link happiness to wealth and material success, others think it lies in emotions and loving personal relationships. Yet others think that spiritual paths, rather than either the material world or relationships with people, are the only way to true happiness.

　　點(diǎn)到了why difficult--通過引用兩組不同人的觀點(diǎn)，把造成這個現(xiàn)象的原因大致導(dǎo)出，與上一個例子有異曲同工之妙。

　　對于argumentative(do you agree or disagree? ; discuss both views and give your opinion. ; is it a positive or negative 　　development?)，這種題型基本上都問了作者的觀點(diǎn)，所以在開頭段落的描寫過程中沒什么特別大的區(qū)別。

　　E.g. 6

　　Using a computer every day can have more negative than positive effects on young children.

　　Do you agree or disagree?

　　I tend to agree that young children can be negatively affected by too much time spent on the computer every day.

　　改寫題目+主動變被動：have more negative than positive effects on = can be negatively affected by

　　直接表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)：I tend to agree that

　　E.g. 7

　　Some people feel that entertainers (e.g. film stars, pop musicians or sports stars) are paid too much money.

　　Do you agree or disagree?

　　Which other types of job should be highly paid?

　　I agree with the view that stars in the entertainment business are usually over paid.This is true whether we are considering stars of film, sport or popular music, and it often seems that the amount of money they are able to earn in as short time cannot possibly be justified by the amount of work they do.

　　現(xiàn)象+觀點(diǎn)

　　E.g. 8

　　Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems.

　　To what extent do you agree or disagree?

　　What other measures do you think might be effective?

　　There is no doubt that traffic and pollution from vehicles have become huge problems, both in cities and on motorways everywhere. Solving these problems is likely to need more than a simple rise in the price of petrol.

　　雅思大作文結(jié)尾段技巧

　　招式一：回答問題answer thequestion

　　E.g. When a country develops its technology; the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive.To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

　　In conclusion, without suggesting that all technology is necessarily good, I thinkit is by no means ‘ pointless’, in any way, to try to keep traditions alive with technology. We should not ignore technology, because it can be our friendand support our way of life.

　　這個結(jié)尾段落明確地提出了自己的觀點(diǎn)，不是所有的科技都是好的，但是科技也不是完全沒有用處的。

　　招式二：不添加新的信息not apply anynew information

　　E.g. Happiness is considered to be very important in life.Why is it difficult to define? What factors are important in achieving happiness?

　　Like self-awareness, this is also very difficult to achieve, but I think these are the two factors that may be the most important for achieving happiness.

　　用1句話明確自己的觀點(diǎn)，幸福很難定義，可能有兩個因素起到作用。

　　招式三：2-3個句子為宜 2-3 sentences are enough

　　E.g. Some people believe that children’s leisure activities must be educational; otherwise they are a complete waste of time. Do you agree or disagree?

　　Finally, Ithink it is also important to remember that children need to relax as well as work. If everything they do must have some educational or academic relevance,then they will soon get tired of studying altogether, which is the last thing parents would want.

　　2句話，作者的態(tài)度很明確，學(xué)生不可能花所有的時間去學(xué)習(xí)，否者就會完全失去對學(xué)習(xí)的興趣，所以也應(yīng)該給學(xué)生一些放松的時間。

　　一般在結(jié)尾段的最開始部分，考生就應(yīng)該給考官一個明確的信號詞，讓考官了解文章已經(jīng)進(jìn)入尾聲了。這里所謂的信號詞就是一些結(jié)尾段的套句：

　　招式四：可采用以下技巧

　　1.總結(jié)式(重述前文)

　　把前文中的觀點(diǎn)再在結(jié)尾段進(jìn)行重述，但是不能重復(fù)與開頭段或者題目中的.單詞。

　　E.g. In many countries schools have severe problems with student behavior. What do you think are the cause of this?What solutions can you suggest?

　　Perhaps parenting classes are needed to help them to do this, and high quality nursery schools could be established that would support families more in terms of rising the next generation. The government should fund this kind of parental support, because this is no longer a problem for individual families, but for society as a whole.

　　把solutions進(jìn)行簡單的再次描寫--父母、好的托兒所、政府的資金扶助。

　　2.兩分式

　　把文章涉及到的主題人或者物分成兩種,對其進(jìn)行分別的說明。

　　E.g. In many countries children are engaged in some kind of paid work. Some people regard this ad completely wrong,while others consider it as valuable work experience, important for learning and taking responsibility. What are your opinions on this?

　　Nevertheless,in better economic circumstances, few parents would choose to send their children out to full-time paid work. If learning responsibilities and work experience are considered to be important, then children can acquire these by having light, part-time jobs or even doing tasks such as helping their parents around the family home, which are unpaid, but undoubtedly of value in children's development.

　　對有錢的家庭而言，家長很少送小孩去做童工;如果是為了錢或者其他，可做兼職。

　　3.折中式

　　很難判斷其中到底誰占據(jù)主導(dǎo)地位，或者什么是最重要的，兩者是缺一不可的，需共同存在。

　　E.g. Research indicates that the characteristics we are born with have much more influence on our personality and development than any experiences we may have in our life.

　　Either nature or nurture is the major influence on a person, but that both have powerfuleffects. How these factors interact is still unknown today and they remain largely unpredictable in a person's life.

　　兩者是缺一不可的，天賦和后天培養(yǎng)同等重要。

　　4.轉(zhuǎn)折對比式

　　提出另一種群體,與之相比,會產(chǎn)生什么效果來支持自己的觀點(diǎn)。

　　E.g. Successful sports professionals can earn a great deal of more money than people in other important professionals.Some people think this is fully justified while others think it is unfair.

　　Personally, I think that the amount of money such sports stars make is more justified than the huge earnings of movie stars, but at the same time, it indicates that our society places more value on sport than on more essential professions and achievements.

　　把運(yùn)動員與其他方面的工作人員進(jìn)行對比——比上不足比下有余。
