2016年GMAT考試新政策
2016年的GMAT考試早已拉開(kāi)戰(zhàn)幕，但是有些關(guān)于最新的GMAT考試新政還是有必要了解一下，以充足的準(zhǔn)備迎戰(zhàn)2016GMAT!下面隨YJBYS小編一起來(lái)看看吧。
其實(shí)早在2015年的7月初GMAT考試官方就已經(jīng)宣布從2015年7月19日起實(shí)施GMAT考試改革新政策，具體包括以下內(nèi)容：
The Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC®) is committed to enabling potential MBA candidates to connect with the best opportunity for and access to graduate management education. As such, GMAC is introducing three new features to improve and streamline the GMAT exam experience for test takers. GMAC asked thousands of candidates and test takers about their GMAT experience and how to make it better. We listened and took action. These new features and options for test takers are effective July 19, 2015.
1. Cancelled Scores Removed from Score Reports 即GMAT成績(jī)單中刪除已經(jīng)取消成績(jī)的C標(biāo)記。
The “C” that represents a candidate’s cancelled scores will not be shown on any future GMAT score reports generated by GMAC. This means that when a test taker cancels their score, only the test taker will know. This feature will be applied retroactively to all previously cancelled test scores, which will be removed from all future score reports that are sent to schools. However, score reports with cancelled scores have already been sent to schools, they can’t be modified.
Removing cancelled scores from the score reports will help candidates gain more control and confidence of their GMAT experience—something that candidates have repeatedly asked for. In a survey of more than 3,000 students, 85% o respondents indicated that they would like to see the “C” removed from their score reports. This feature will also help deter any misinterpretations of cancelled scores in candidate profiles.Please reference the Cancelled Score Policy Update FAQ for additional questions.
GMAT考試結(jié)束后，考生可以根據(jù)自己在考試中的表現(xiàn)，選擇保留或取消本次考試成績(jī)，從而一定程度上避免因?yàn)楸憩F(xiàn)較差導(dǎo)致的低分被計(jì)入成績(jī)單中。但即使考試選擇了取消成績(jī)，成績(jī)單上仍會(huì)出現(xiàn)一個(gè)代表取消的“C”，對(duì)于追求完美的考生來(lái)說(shuō)多少有些心里不踏實(shí)的感覺(jué)，而本次改變后，此標(biāo)示將被徹底刪除，以后也不會(huì)再顯示在成績(jī)單上，考生可以更加放心刷分，而不必?fù)?dān)心因此留下任何記錄。而之前考試成績(jī)單中的取消標(biāo)示，也將被一并刪除。
2. Repeat Exams Allowed after 16 Days即兩次考試時(shí)間間隔縮短到16天
Candidates have the option to retake the GMAT exam after a 16-day time period (versus the current 31-day retake period). This allows candidates the flexibility to retake the exam within a shorter period of time in order to accommodate their schedules, study habits, peak performance times, and/or school deadlines. As always, candidates can’t exceed five GMAT exams within a 12-month period.
以前兩次GMAT考試時(shí)間最短間隔為31天。本次調(diào)整后兩次考試間隔時(shí)間將縮減為16天，可以方便考生在更短的時(shí)間內(nèi)連續(xù)參考，對(duì)于急需考試成績(jī)來(lái)進(jìn)行申請(qǐng)的考生來(lái)說(shuō)，是極為方便的措施。當(dāng)然，每12個(gè)月內(nèi)5次的參考限制仍然保留。這就意味著考生能夠在短期內(nèi)通過(guò)多次參考來(lái)進(jìn)行刷分，更有效率地提升自己的GMAT成績(jī)。需要注意的是，由于生效日為7月19日，因此在此日期之前報(bào)名，仍需按照31天的間隔來(lái)進(jìn)行考試時(shí)間的選擇。
3. Authentication Code Replaced with Date of Birth即用于網(wǎng)上查分的驗(yàn)證碼將用考生生日替代
Candidates will be able to view their Official Score Report online using their date of birth to authenticate their access. A separate authentication code will no longer be issued at the test center.
GMAT考生通過(guò)網(wǎng)上在線查分時(shí)，需要輸入獨(dú)立的身份驗(yàn)證密碼，查詢過(guò)程較為繁瑣。本次改革后，考生可直接輸入個(gè)人生日日期信息進(jìn)行驗(yàn)證，更為方便地查到自己的考試成績(jī)，而不需要再多記一組額外的密碼，為考生省去很多麻煩。
接下來(lái)，再給大家分享一些備考經(jīng)驗(yàn)吧：
1. 平時(shí)就應(yīng)該把看過(guò)的重要精華貼用一個(gè)小表格整理下來(lái)，記下標(biāo)題、版面/網(wǎng)址、參考度是否高、我讀過(guò)了沒(méi)有、是否已經(jīng)打印了、這篇重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容是什么(是語(yǔ)法方法總結(jié)還是實(shí)戰(zhàn)經(jīng)驗(yàn))等，編了號(hào)與打印版對(duì)應(yīng)。
2. 牛人經(jīng)驗(yàn)千萬(wàn)不能一篇篇按順序看全，因?yàn)橛虚L(zhǎng)有短、有特別周詳?shù)秸務(wù)効傮w戰(zhàn)略的。對(duì)于初入門者來(lái)說(shuō)，直接看在Excel表格里用紅色標(biāo)出的那幾篇就夠了。
3. 信息一下子非常overwhelming，所以最好的辦法是：
1) 了解常識(shí)，如考場(chǎng)、考點(diǎn)、護(hù)照之類;GMAT總體掃盲，如分?jǐn)?shù)高低的意義、分哪幾個(gè)部分、常用名詞是什么。
2) 學(xué)習(xí)總體復(fù)習(xí)計(jì)劃安排，對(duì)各部分的復(fù)習(xí)方法有個(gè)大致的概念，形成分階段的想法，形成自己總體計(jì)劃。
3) 仔細(xì)看每個(gè)部分，例如從SC開(kāi)始詳細(xì)了解方法、制訂計(jì)劃、開(kāi)始復(fù)習(xí)，下周上RC和CR等…… 一個(gè)個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)。
