校友聚會(huì)英語對話:Homecoming Scene

相隔多年的同學(xué)再一次相聚在校園里，昔日的情侶變成了老夫妻。這些景象對于年輕的阿美和她的室友來說意味著什么呢？來看看吧。

Roommate: Why are there so many people in the hall today? I bet even the youngest of them gotta be over 60.

May: They are schoolmates of our university. There is a reunion of our university.

Roommate: Look, May, the man in grey suit looks like the mayor of our city.

May: That's him. He graduated from our university. And there are also other important people here: scientists, researchers, engineers, managers, etc.

Roommate: Really? I hear that the statue besides our school gate is donated by them.

May: Yes, I know that. They have given lots of money to our university.

Roommate: Why?

May: They graduated from this university and have become very successful people. And they feel very grateful to their university.

Roommate: I feel more grateful to my teachers than to my school.

May: You are lucky to have good teachers in a good school.

Roommate: Year, maybe I would come back with my boyfriend to this school when we are old. After all, it's the place where we first met each other.

May: Look at those three couples; they must have been classmates in our university.

Roommate: How do you know that?

May: Because they come back together and only the graduates of this university are invited.

Roommate: You are right. But what are we here for?

May: We will serve them tea and snacks. Come on, we must work now.

室友: 為什么今天大廳里會(huì)有這么多人？我打賭即便這里最年輕的人也有60歲了。

阿美: 他們是我們的校友。我們學(xué)校有個(gè)聚會(huì)。

室友: 快看，阿美。那位穿黑色西服的人看起來好像我們的市長。

阿美: 就是他。他是從我們學(xué)校畢業(yè)的。這兒還有很多重要的人士：科學(xué)家、研究學(xué)者、工程師、經(jīng)理等等。

室友: 真的嗎？我聽說我們學(xué)校校門旁邊的雕像是他們捐贈(zèng)的。

阿美: 是的，我知道。他們還給我們學(xué)校捐了不少錢。

室友: 為什么？

阿美: 他們是從這個(gè)學(xué)校畢業(yè)，并且成了成功人士。他們對學(xué)校應(yīng)該是心存感激吧。

室友: 相對于學(xué)校，我更感謝我的`老師。

阿美: 在好的學(xué)校又有好的老師，真幸運(yùn)。

室友: 是啊，也許當(dāng)我跟我男朋友老的時(shí)候可以回學(xué)校來看看。畢竟這是我們第一次見面的地方。

阿美: 看那三對夫婦，在上學(xué)的時(shí)候，他們肯定是同班同學(xué)。

室友: 你怎么知道的？

阿美: 因?yàn)樗麄兪且黄饋淼�，只有我們學(xué)校的畢業(yè)生才會(huì)被邀請。

室友: 那倒是。我們到這來干什么？

阿美: 我們幫他們倒茶，準(zhǔn)備小吃啊�？禳c(diǎn)，我們得趕快。
