從歸化和異化論英語電影片名的翻譯

English Film Title Translation in Light of Domestication and Foreignization Strategy
Abstract
Film is a kind of art with popular appeal. But for the cultural differences exist between eastern and western countries, proper and attractive film titles should be given to Chinese audience. Domestication and foreignization should be properly chosen to achieve the best result in translation and advertising. The translators should make an appropriate choice of domestication or foreignization strategy considering the foreign flavor and target audience’s cultural factors and language, aesthetic conception.
This thesis discusses domestication and foreignization strategy applied in English film title translation, and makes further analysis with specific ideas and problems based on examples in the practice of translation.

摘 要
電影巨大的影響力為其他藝術(shù)形式所不能比擬,然而由于中西方文化國家存在文化差異,要為西方電影構(gòu)思1個精彩貼切的片名才能吸引中國觀眾。要使外語片名既能體現(xiàn)異域風(fēng)情又能迎合譯入語觀眾的鑒賞力,在翻譯中就應(yīng)合理地選擇歸化與異化策略,使譯名取得最佳翻譯及宣傳效果。本論文探討英語電影片名的翻譯中采用歸化和異化的策略問題, 如何結(jié)合片名的異國情調(diào)和譯入語觀眾的文化因素,語言習(xí)慣,審美恰當(dāng)?shù)剡x擇歸化或異化策略。并結(jié)合實例進(jìn)1步分析翻譯實踐中的具體思路及應(yīng)注意的問題。
