A Comparative Study on Sino-American Commercial Culture: A Case Analysis of IBM and Lenovo

Abstract

With the fast developing economy and the process of economic globalization, the world business is more frequent and commercial culture is more important in business. Because of international cultural differences, there are different commercial cultures in different countries, which greatly hinder the development of economy. Based on the background of globalization and fast development of our economy, I think it is important for us to understand the commercial culture and its different features in different countries. This thesis consists of five main parts. The first part of this thesis introduces the reason I choose this topic; the second part of this thesis points out the definition of culture and commercial culture; the third part of this thesis analyzes the different features of Chinese and American commercial cultures; the fourth part of this thesis takes the corporation cultures of IBM and Lenovo for example, and makes a comparative study; the fifth part of this thesis puts forward what we can learn from American commercial culture especially IBM corporation cultures to enhance Chinese commercial culture.

摘  要

隨著世界經(jīng)濟(jì)的迅速發(fā)展和全球1體化進(jìn)程的不斷加快，世界范圍的內(nèi)的貿(mào)易越來越頻繁，商業(yè)文化在商業(yè)活動(dòng)中扮演著越來越重要的角色。因?yàn)楦鲊�文化的不同，在不同的國家也就有了商業(yè)文化的差異。隨著國際貿(mào)易的增多，它越來越影響著世界經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展，成為影響商業(yè)活動(dòng)的障礙之1。在全球化進(jìn)程的加快和我國經(jīng)濟(jì)不斷高速發(fā)展的背景下，我們有必要了解商業(yè)文化及其特征。這篇論文主要由5個(gè)部分組成。第1部分介紹我選題的理由；第2部分為文化和商業(yè)文化的定義；第3部分介紹商業(yè)文化本身和中美商業(yè)文化的特征；第4部分為IBM和聯(lián)想的企業(yè)文化及對(duì)比；第5部分是總結(jié)及啟示。希望通過這篇論文，可以讓我們更加了解我國和美國不同的商業(yè)文化特征，學(xué)習(xí)和借鑒1些可以適合我們商業(yè)發(fā)展的文化，以促進(jìn)我國現(xiàn)代商業(yè)文化的形成，在全球化進(jìn)程中站穩(wěn)腳跟。
