2.3.1 晉升機(jī)制
在投行的職業(yè)發(fā)展道路首先,進(jìn)入投資銀行的途徑通常有兩種:途徑之一,認(rèn)識圈子中的人,有他人推薦或者介紹;途徑之二,校園招聘。
從級別上來講,從低到高大致有這些層次:
Analyst(分析員,一般國外名校本科畢業(yè)、或者國內(nèi)名校本科研究生畢業(yè))
Associate(經(jīng)理,從分析員升任或從國外名校 MBA 招聘)
VP(副總裁,從經(jīng)理升任)
Director(董事,從 VP 升任)
Managing Director(董事總經(jīng)理,從 Director 升任)。
上述稱謂不同的銀行有所不同,但本質(zhì)相通。一般來說,每一級別之間大致相差三年的工作經(jīng)驗,按資升級。
越往上,人才在不同銀行之間的流動情況越普遍。從功能上來講,投資銀行的人大致分為做客戶關(guān)系管理的和做業(yè)務(wù)實施的。前者一般相對應(yīng)的級別比較高,通常 VP 和以上為主;后者雖然各級別的人都會做,但是主要工作集中在 Analyst 到 VP 這幾個級別。
進(jìn)入投資銀行業(yè)后,通常情況下,你應(yīng)負(fù)責(zé)把你接受的每一個項目及時做好,無論是寫報告、繪制電子表格、談生意、做研發(fā)還是制定工作計劃。然后,一旦有機(jī)會接觸客戶并參與創(chuàng)造利潤,如果你能為公司談成生意,回報將相當(dāng)豐厚。如果你已經(jīng)成為高管(通常為董事,董事總經(jīng)理及更高層管理人員),你必須要承擔(dān)更多的風(fēng)險。
在這種職位上不能很好地勝任工作的人,就要被迫離職。簡單而言,如果想做到 Director 以上或者做客戶關(guān)系管理,即拉業(yè)務(wù)為主,要么你從底層爬上來,積聚了良好的專業(yè)素質(zhì)、客戶服務(wù)經(jīng)驗以及廣闊的人脈,要么是因為家庭的背景,或者行業(yè)的長期經(jīng)驗和人脈。其它可能性不大。
